I have a 2007 Toyota Highlander that has 250,000 miles on it and is a pleasure to drive. I could not continue to drive this vehilce without the exceptional service that I have had from Genin's over the years. I have been a customer of Genin's for more than 30 years and would not think of going anywhere else for vehilce maintenance. We actually lived in Northern Wisconsin for 18 years and would wait for an opportunity to travel to Madison so that I could continue to have our vehicles maintened by Genin's. Rick, Kerry Joe, and their staff are simply the most excellent and service oriented car maintenance

Recently our Honda CRV had an oil leak, which we discovered on a Sunday evening, of course. We were able to schedule an appointment online for the next morning, and Genin's had it completely checked out, repaired, and returned to us by that afternoon. They determined it was caused by a faulty oil filter (not installed by them) and charged us $64. This is our second great experience with Genin's this year, and we're thrilled with their quality, service, honesty, and reasonable prices.

If you are wondering how a garage that charges $178 for an air and cabin filter change (seriously!!) has such good reviews, it is because they offer partial refunds to take down your negative review. And they will call you several times to remind you of this.
If having your prices posted on your google reviews is that much of a bother, maybe you should lower your prices.

I needed to have a headlight replaced. They let me come in without an appointment, first thing after a holiday weekend, and replaced my headlight in less than 20 minutes. I was in and out, and the cost was about half of what I expected! Highly, highly recommend Genin's for their excellent and personal customer service.

Customer service was impeccable and the lady I talked to (carol? Sorry I can’t remember) was so nice and very helpful as the whole situation was very stressful for me. I highly recommend this place and the price was good for what they did! If I ever have car troubles again I am definitely coming back!!

I came to Genin's after years of being loyal to my local dealership. However, the dealer's tendency to sell extra services and failure to adhere to COVID-19 precautions caused me to switch. I couldn't be happier with Genin's. They were prompt, professional, friendly and provided great service at a reasonable price. They strictly adhere to COVID-19 precautions, which is so important! I've gotten a few oil changes here and have had some work done on my car. Rick is a great guy and his staff are wonderful to talk to on the phone. It's conveniently located if you live on the near west side or downtown, and they are often able to get my car in with short notice. Additionally, they have a few loaner vehicles available if you need one in a pinch.
It can be hard to trust shops, but I've felt respected and well treated every time I've had to bring my car in. Definitely the place to go downtown if you need routine maintenance or if you have a more acute problem pop up! Highly recommend

I took my 2000 Chevy Blazer LT to have the drive axle and transfer case inspected for any leaks and lubrication. Previously, the right or passenger side upper and lower ball joints had been replaced with new Moog ball joints around 2016-17, while the left or driver's side ball joints are still "original" since the day I had purchased the vehicle in 2015. After the inspection, Keri Jo pointed out where there may be some leaks in the front axle and then informed me that both of my lower ball joints were shredded. One of the worst experiences I've had at an auto care place. Brought my vehicle in on Thursday morning before Xmas to get some work done. They told me they would have it finished by Friday at 5. They called me Friday night to quote me a ridiculous price and to tell me that they wouldn't have time to fix it until the following week. So in the end they scammed me out of $75 for absolutely nothing. I had already known exactly what was wrong with my vehicle when I had brought it in.

So I called them after reading this yelp review about how they gave this person a loaner car ( though she had no work done ) as a way to help her. I called to ask if they could look at my car cause the check engine light was on ...owner Rick said no one could actually work on it until Monday . That's fine but I work and so I asked about the loaner cars and he went out of his way to list all the requirements for the loaner car as in you had to have 300 bucks of work done .

Awesome customer service, never experienced before. My wife's car broke down near Genins and AAA delivered it there, only to realize that the repair was a warranty item, which required a Ford dealer to perform. I was out of town for work so Genins loaned her a car, no questions asked. They even offered for her to keep the car during the repair! We didn't feel right doing that since Genins wasn't even doing the repair so the next day we dropped the car back off. They refused to take any money for letting us borrow their loaner. I've been going there for 10 years or so. Rick Genin and his entire staff are always very trustworthy and skilled. There is a genuine focus on customer service that permeates everything they do. They fix the problem and, unlike some others, do not try to "fix" items that do not need fixing. The location and loaner car program are the frosting on the cake.
