Was given a list of 3 trusted inspectors from my agent, but none of them could do the date and time we needed (as well as not returning calls, texts, emails). Under the gun I went to google and found Mike. He answered my call and was able to do the day and time we needed.

Mike's an awesome home inspector. I've probably worked with him over 10 times. I recommend him to all my clients who need a great home inspector. He is CREIA certified, he gets the report to me same day and is very detailed. He also is easily accessible by phone and answers any questions I have about the report/inspection etc. His prices are good and he's also a pleasant person to be around. As a real estate broker of HallDoran Realty in San Diego, it is imperative to have a dependable, yet thorough and competent Home Inspector who can perform in a timely manner. Often, purchase contracts are signed on the weekends, or close thereto, and the home inspection needs to be completed within 7 days. After calling a half-dozen referred inspectors, Mike was the only one who was available on such short notice. He arrived on time, despite snarling traffic, and was ready to get started. Highly recommend Mike's Home Inspections. From a realtor perspective, one of the main things I value is responsiveness. You meet many contractors who overpromise and under-deliver. We've now done a few inspections together and Mike and his team have surpassed my expectations. Scheduling: Thursday morning, I was looking for a Friday anytime inspection. The two 350+ 5 star rated companies said soonest was Tuesday. Mike got it done Friday, and has the report done the same night. I also don't trust those two 350+ sites as they "look" to be the same website (different look and feel, but same exact interface to fill in data and search). It also appeared they are simply a broker and sell your information to the highest bidding contractor, which may not be one of the 5 stars (don't quote me, just a guess).
Price: $250 for Mike versus $510 for both the others I looked at.
