We are pleased to announce that the Cannon Funeral Home is now serving families in the Capital Region at our new Funeral Home location at 2020 Central Avenue, Albany. As a result of tremendous response from the community we will be able to offer our experience and outstanding care to the families in Albany.
The reasons for preferring cremation are varied. For some, it seems a more natural process than burial. Others have environmental concerns. Still others are not sure why they feel more comfortable with cremation but are interested in learning more. Cremation is the process of the body being reduced to its basic elements and dried bone fragments into ashes in a cremation chamber.

Cannon funeral homes professionally helped me through the worst time of my life.
They were considerate, professional, and never pushy about the logistical details and requirements of the service.
They worked with our family to ensure that my wife was honored and that her service, along with most of the logistical stuff you would not want to spend your time doing, were handled.
During the planning, they explained our options, politely explained deadlines for certain items and requirements, and was considerate of our time and spontaneous requests.
