I'd round this up to 3.5 stars. This hotel is in a convenient location just a short drive from the shops in town. The water is directly across the street but not really a good beach to hang out on. The hotels a little further down the road towards North Truro had more accessible beaches to walk on and sit. The best part about the Harbor Hotel is definitely the outdoor area where the heated pool and fire pits are. It was so pretty at night and the pool was fun! One night the pits weren't turned on and we were so disappointed (it didn't rain that day so I'm not sure why). Our

I had written confirmation for 2 night stay with water views. I paid over $1,100.00 dollars for harbor view rooms. The only thing we looked at from a large window as the cement slab of a staircase going up to the second floor. As soon as we dropped our bags off in the room, I returned to the front desk where the person behind the desk commented "I don't believe that room should even get occupied". We were moved the next day but this crook of a hotel will not refund us for the first night. This was a big vacation for me and you are horrible!

This place amazing. I had called to check in early & they were kind to do so. I had the pool view & it was so modern & hip. The pool closes at 9 so it was quiet. It's about 6 mins away from downtown. Also , they have bikes and scooters to rent. The water right in front was beautiful. The rooms were clean. 10/10

They did not clean for a 5 day stay and made you go to the entrance to beg for towels and toilet paper. They provided no cleaning products So if you wanted to clean you could, not even a broom to sweep. The gentleman at the front desk consistently had an attitude And was all around not helpful or even nice. They put me at a room facing the pool so it was loud with not so great musics from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m., try asking for a room facing the water. The food is simply hamburgers and extremely expensive as are any cans of beer or low grade wine....very expensive. the bed and pillows were comfortable

Room was run down (needs paint/renovations) and cleaning could have been better. Bathroom was gross and had mold; kept finding strands of hair: towel had brown stains. Room and hallways had musty smells. They didn't have printed material of pool, restaurant, and golf cart shuttle hours. Restaurant needs extended hours for both food and drinks. Overpriced, not sure how this is a 3 star hotel.

Alas, the room was not completely clean and a large puddle was near inside the room entrance. Prob a leftover from the hurricane.
The pool was quite cloudy.
Also frustrating was one evening a private party excluded other guests from the fire pit and water view.
While the staff was very nice and friendly, the above issues were not resolved. I cannot recommend staying here.

We thought this was a relatively good deal in part because of their free shuttle service into town which was great! This place is located a very short walking distance from the beach! The pool seemed ok but we didn't go in. They didn't have a jacuzzi near the pool like one of their outdated pictures suggests. They do have 3 fire pits you can use if you have firewood on a first come first serve basis. Our room was very clean and well kept. Everything in the room worked as it should. The beds were comfy and the water pressure was great! We will likely be back! It was a great experience

This hotel is fantastic, particularly for groups and families. The pool is larger, clean, and fantastic. But those same grounds also have hammocks, sitting areas with fires for when it's chilly, and lawn games. We had the most inexpensive rooms, but they were extremely clean with wonderful beds and linens. They also offer very nice soaps and shampoo. It is a bit inconvenient if you do not have a car because Ubers are iffy. But Cape Cab was a great help. And the walk into town is lovely but could be too much for the young, old, or other-abled. I cannot comment on the beach across the

First off, it is a motel, and a run down one at that. To call it a hotel is just wrong.
The bathtub had sand in it when we checked in. Floor was also dirty.
The complimentary coffee tasted like dishwater and there are no breakfast grab and go's for folks who don't want a full breakfast. Front desk sent me on a wild goose chase to a store to grab a piece of fruit and when I found it, the store was closed.
On the plus side, we liked the pool and the beach across the street is heaven.
However, at 2pm they had run out of towels at the pool, and no one was in sight to replenish them. Also

I am late writing this review. Better late than never. My children and I stayed last summer. It was during the pandemic, so I give them some slack. I attempted to check in and was told that my room was not ready. That was fine for us, we were happy to sit by the pool. They told me that they would call me when my room was ready, they never did. I checked back with them hours later and it was ready. I tried to get food for my kids at the snack bar they were literally out of everything... including ketchup!
I will not return.

We stayed here in late June and had a mixed bag experience. When it comes to a hotel during Covid19 the staff was great and wore proper PPE and ensured minimal contact by not doing turndown service everyday. If you ever needed something the front desk gladly restocked you such as towels from there plexiglass front desk. Guests here were not the same in following guidelines which is of no fault but the hotel.

I had a great two night stay over Columbus Day weekend at Harbor Hotel. This was my first stay at Harbor Hotel. I loved the retro vibe and the beautiful fire pit I always saw lit on the ride on Route 6A.
The grounds are clean, have great amenities and the room had a great balcony that overlooked the pool. I would like to visit here in season to utilize the pool, hot tub and outside grill area. It was a really nice area! There are two fire pit areas, one at the front of the hotel and near the pool. The hotel is right across the street from the ocean and at the far end of the East End.
