My son went to OSU and moved into these apartments based on their reviews. I can confidently tell you based on my knowledge the staff is friendly and professional. But, If you don’t mind your rent being increased every six months whether you sign a lease or not or enjoy washing your car every week due to the mature trees and all the debris, moss & mold. Parking is terrible so hope and pray you get a space close to your apartment.

I lived at Oak Vale in one of the phase 2 renovated, 2 bedroom apartments for 2 years.
The apartments themselves are beautiful and solidly constructed (5/5 stars). The maintenance staff is very responsive and helpful (5/5 stars).
The complex is quiet and nicely located, with lots of wildlife.
I have 2 issues, however:
1) there was very little communication between management about our moveout. My husband and I received promises in writing from one staff member that were denied by others. I had to hound them to ensure that I would get any of my rental deposit back in the midst of Covid.
2)

Great loaction and good facilities. I love the basketball court and the common club house. My daughter loves the paly area for kids. The most key point is the nice staff there. We had a wonderful experience in this lovely community for more than 500 days. We had planned to stay only one year but encountered the pandemic. The manager Whitney is a very nice guy. She permitted us stay with a very flexible lease so we stay for more 180 days.

I moved in as they were finishing the renovation and let me tell you. The renovation is AMAZING. Completely night and day compared to before the renovation. It means a lot to have a landlord but in so money into a property and see that they truly care about the property and making it a home instead of seeing it as a paycheck.

I have lived here for a few years. Oak Vale is an amazing complex - one I would recommend to anyone moving to the Corvallis area. The Property Managers, Office Staff, and Maintenance Personnel are always quick to respond to any issues and are as friendly as can be. The surrounding area is beautiful and full of wildlife, the apartments are cozy and updated, and the recent renovations put a modern touch to the area.

We lived here in 2012 and when we made the move back to Corvallis we decided to take a look at them again. The rent increased but the remodel is absolutely beautiful. The apartments have a woodsy atmosphere with deer out and about on most days. Our neighbors are nice and all the people who work here are awesome.

Me & and my wife moved to Corvallis about 2 months ago. We initially choose Oak Vale because they offer a one month lease also at a very good price. We were concerned that it is a bit of a walking distance to my wife college. But after one month staying here, we decided to stay as long as we are in the area with Corvallis bus is just in front of the complex and yeah it's free.You can easily go around with it. The staff and management team here are really friendly and helpful. They address any issues almost immediately. The price is very reasonable and very quiet. Would recommend it to anyone.

I have been living here for a year now and have had a great experience. It is very peaceful, further away from the noise and traffic around campus. A unique amenity I really like about this complex is the garden plots available for tenants to grow their own vegetables. The woodsy area on Witham Hill feels almost secluded from the hustle and bustle just a few blocks away, which I find very relaxing.
