New property managers to take over in May of 21' are egregious planners. Painting in the tail end of Summer, screwing over SSI citizens just trying to live by manipulating rent and dues periods, limiting access to online portals that charge transactions fees, pulling out address markers and ADA markers for the disabled and for emergency response, cited by the fire marshal. Poor planning, poor execution, poor management. Want affordable housing? You wouldn't even get what you pay for here, you'd just get disappointment.

Be warned that the new management no longer cleans the common areas when tenants move out so you will probably find a pretty filthy kitchen and bathroom upon move in. The problem is that each Quad has at least one person that refuses to clean up after his or herself resulting in the other roomies to sink to their level and stop cleaning up after them. This results in pests-fruit flies, mice and rats and once again it is the tenants responsibility to clean up the filth and everyone points the finger at their other roomies. With covid-19 a real health problem and these Quads a super spreader environment

Very friendly and attentive management staff. Rooms and common areas are clean and maintained. Only 4 stars because it’s is older but definitely a great place for college students or singles.

There pro's and con's, first the pro's 1 it is cheep and in a nice quiet neighbor hood electricity is included with rent( but if you use to much electricity they charge you more) it is close to the bus and the fred meyers and gas station. Now the con"s you have a 14 by 18 room you share the bathroom and kitchen with 3 other people and that also means the fridge and for some reason the rooms never seem to get warm in the kitchen it warm especially when the heater is on but not in the rooms, frankly that is a big con, frankly that is a place that you move into get you're bearings and move on from

The people who run the place are super nice and very on top of things when it comes to fixing stuff around the apartment. The rooms are nice and big, and you can request furniture to be provided, which is real awesome. The rooms have sinks in them, so that's a thing. However, wifi is not provided. There is no laundry on site, and the laundry place across the street closed down. It's super close to campus and even closer to Fred Meyer's. Neighborhood is a little loud from the nearby Greek life, but it's a pretty nice place to live! The people in my quad were quiet and clean.

I signed a lease for 1 year. I thought everything was cool, until I turned in my keys. They said they needed 30 days notice and that I would have to pay another month's rent even though I already moved out!
The lease agreement says it turns into month-to-month after your lease is up. The people in the office verbally told me about this part of the contract and I told them I only needed the year. They said that it wouldn't be a problem, and we continued on with signing the lease.
Don't rent from this place unless you know the right questions to ask to protect yourself in the future.

I did not rent from here, but I did walk through. Similar to The Union, it's a shared living space with 4 rooms, but the main selling point is the private entrance for each tenant. Each room is a studio layout with a private sink and closet. Furniture is optional. The shared space consists of a kitchen, two toilets and one shower/bath. The price is also a bit misleading. On zillow, one room show up for $575 a month, but you must also pay in $75 in utilities which at that point, you might want to look for a different place. I'm sure if you have 3 close friends you can share the suite the place will

I lived in the apartments for 2 years and it is definitely a local scam. They falsely advertise deals to college students and single professionals on Craigslist and then up the price. Still cheap by comparison to other places, but considering the quad-style, dirty water, shared environment and old-style appliances, it is hardly worth being a low-income housing option. They promote scare tactics and minimalism. It would be better if they tore it down and rebuilt something else there. They will do anything to cheat you no matter how well a tenant you are.

SLUM! This place is an overpriced pile of crap my fridge was taped together and my toilet didn't work for over a month. when you move out no matter how well you've cleaned it they will keep your deposits and say that you needed to clean common areas which even if you did when you left people are still living in and using so it's not possible to get back your deposit so don't plan on it.

This place is a RIP OFF! Do not rent here, it's not worth the cheap $574 monthly rent they charge. My daughter rented and signed a 1 year lease for a 3rd floor room. It cost her more in the long run with all the hassles of getting her car towed from the parking lot (with absolutely no help from the management), paying extra for electricity due to the fact that the room was so hot in the summer she had to constantly run a fan, to paying for an additional month's rent because she failed to notify management 30 days prior of her intent to vacate at the end of her lease.

I lived there for about six months and it was very pleasant. I was a little concerned with 3 other semi roommates but all the guys that moved in and out were polite and tidy. Units are clean and well maintained. Jim and his Wife are the kind and able proprietors.

Never even made it to move in. The male manager was so rude, disinterested, unprofessional and overall jerky while I was trying to GIVE him my money for deposit and rent, I can only imagine what he's like on the flipside when trying to get a deposit back. Buyer beware.

Don't even consider renting at this place! This is a filthy, broken down place that should be shut down for business. We rented a room for our son who spent the year there in similar circumstances other one-star reviewers listed. The shared kitchen and bath area would be just fine if it were shared with other students, but it isn't which makes for an incredibly awkward situation. We just received the deposit check and although I called them to complain, no one has gotten back to me. The issue was that they deducted $75 for smoke damage along one wall. The incredible thing is that

I should have done more research. I was visiting the University and rented a room at Fillmore Inn. It was a horrible experience altogether. The room smelled. The walls were so thin that I could here the neighbors' farts. There was a common refrigerator and someone drank my beers and kept singles for my $2/bottle beer. When I complained to the manager, they said they'd look into it (and never did).

Worst part was they charged me $120 for clean up. I stayed only for a month and cleaned my room before leaving. It was actually in better condition than when I move in. The $120 was a deposit

I really enjoyed my time at the Fillmore. All the staff were very helpful and friendly, and were very inviting. The rent was as to be expected in a college town, and was better than most of the places I had looked at beforehand. I've lived in many places around Corvallis and was very pleased with the experience. Definitely a place I would recommend to college students for quiet, affordable living during the school year.

One of the WORST apartments in Corvallis. They will lie and be horribly abusive in order to keep your deposit when you move out. When I moved in, they didn't clean between tenants, so I had to clean and replace the blinds (which were filthy with mold). They didn't even vacuum or clean off the countertop. When I moved out, they charged me for all of the damage the previous tenant caused. When I called to talk about this, Jim called me a liar and said some other awful things to me over the phone. I was warned when I moved in that they would steal from me and I wish that I had listened.
