Our business was established in 1913, beginning with George Bradford who eventually merged with his son-in-law Bill Connelly, and in 1980 Larry Glickler, the current owner/operator, purchased the business. Larry is very active in the local community with his benevolent philanthropic contributions to the cultural, civic, religious and art institutions in the Dayton community.

Larry and Dan have been excellent. Extremely quick in responding to your requests, very affordable and always available to respond to your calls. At tough times you need a very reliable and dependable team to help you maneuver through the different procedures and Larry s team is the one to assist you. Having never faced such a situation before they have held my hand through everything including shipping of the ashes overseas. No one can compensate for the emotional stress you go through when you have lost a dear one but Larry would be the person to contact for all the procedures so you can grieve

With the unexpected passing of our grandfather, arrangements were not preplanned and I had called around to several funeral homes asking about arrangements. Larry & his team were so caring and compassionate. They took care of all arrangements and made everything so much easier on our family during this difficult time. My relative died recently. He had not been proactive about His final arrangements and the family was facing a sizable bill to do even a basic cremation. Glickler stepped in and worked tirelessly to ensure every last wish of my family member was met. The casket was gorgeous, and the service was exactly what the deceased wanted. The Glickler Funeral Home experience was outstanding! I would highly recommend this funeral home. Although I’m sure your family would appreciate it if you got with Glickler before you pass so your family doesn’t have to scramble to get you a beautiful service.

It has been a very hard week for me for I lost my wife Jan 16 and I was so lost, the staff and the person that helped me through the start of this was Larry, He experience her family has I have and was the most professional as anyone I have honor of meeting. He is a true loving professional person I have ever meet. he has given me the strength to travel this very hard time.
