We were moving from Brooklyn Park to Rockford and asked on a local community FB page who was recommended in the area and his name was popular. We looked at several existing homes but ultimately ended up purchasing new construction. This would be our 3rd home, 1st with Derrick and his team and compared to previous experiences he was great to deal with. I think the biggest thing we enjoyed was how informed he was of the building process and although we have built one time prior he pointed out things we would have never thought of that allowed us to make even better choices as we went through the

Derrick and his team epitomize the "Professional" aspect of the term Real Estate Professionals. They do their jobs extremely well and take the privilege of being a realtor for their clients very seriously. The best part is that they also make it fun!
We have worked with the DMG team two different times, which I think speaks to the trust level we had with them. Derrick has great market insights based on his years of experience, but also because he pushes himself to continually learn.

Derrick was great to work with during our selling process. He handled unforeseen Covid issues and was great during inspection process...even up on the roof and meeting with every inspector or repairman at the house. He went above and beyond to get our house sold in a very stressful time.

I decided we were paying too much in rent and started looking at Zillow. I telephoned the Derrick Monroe group about what I had in mind. Monday morning Anne had appointments set up and met me at the first listing. At the second listing, we both decided it was perfect. Anne had us back in the home that evening, much to the listing agent’s chagrin. Anne suggested we make a full price offer because homes were selling so quickly. Our offer was accepted!
We wanted to update the townhouse with painted cabinets and walls. The listing agent was not amenable to us getting back inside

We purchased a home Derrick had listed. He was unresponsive, many follow up calls, emails and texts had been sent for him to connect with my realtor. This was my 4th home purchase an he was by far the hardest to get a hold of. Questions seemed to be tip toed around..... knew it was a really busy time and tried to excuse the poor service for this reason. However we are now in the home Derrick had listed but with hiccups along the way. I have been around this block a good handful of times to know that the issues lies with him and not my realtor who has gone above and beyond to ensure I am taken care
