I wouldn't take my boy anywhere else. They're always so sweet to my dog and they treat him like he is just as important to them as he is to me! They even call to check on him and make sure things are good with him. The staff is friendly, they're informative and they have never given us any difficulties.
Silver Springs Shores Animal Hospital provides comprehensive general pet services in Ocala, FL. Our veterinary visits include providing personalized vaccinations based on the latest research, in-house Xrays, parasite testing, urinalysis, diagnosing and treating skin and ear issues, dental and extractions, and much more.
In today's world, caring for our pets means spaying or neutering, from health and behavior benefits to a decrease in the overall population. The reason to spay and neuter are many and far-reaching. Cats and dogs are susceptible to a number of parasitic infections, several of which are zoonotic (Possess the ability to infect people as well as other animals).

Absolutely love this office and Dr Johnson they truly care for our pets and not just the $$$$. Dr Johnson worked at another clinic where I took my last dog and I can't say enough about his care so happy to have found him again. One of my dogs now has osteosarcoma and Dr Johnson and his staff have been fabulous! I can't rave about them enough.

I have a 15 yr old dog that is struggling with her health. I called and was disconnected, after they had enough information to return my call. Which they did not do. Then I left several messages with no response. We I finally reached someone, a week later, they wanted me to wait another week to get help. They are always super busy but when you have a pet, at what could be her final days you don't want to be ingnore or told to wait another week-2 weeks. If business is going well for them they need to expand so that suffer pets don't have to wait any longer. I will move my pet to a more caring environment

Silver Springs Shores animal hospital is always so kind. They fit us in quickly if we have an urgent situation. What I like most is how they make the experience great for our dog, Drax; giving him treats and everyone loving on him makes him feel like it’s a fun trip. I have already recommended this vet and I will continue to do so. Thanks!

I absolutely love the staff at Silver Springs Shores Animal Hospital. They've taken care of both of our boys since they were kittens. Without them, I would have lost my cat Percival last year due to a bladder infection. I honestly wouldn't take my pets anywhere else. They make you feel like part of the family and even if you haven't been there in years, they still remember you and your pets like you were there yesterday.

They recognize and know my dog. That’s such a comfort. They know my kitty, too, although she doesn’t visit as often because she is an inside kitty. Whenever my dog takes off on a romp, they’re aware and available. They were the ones to chip my dog, which has proven invaluable when Indy’s been retrieved. They make sure to remind me when Indy needs regular attention. Even though Indy’s heart and flea protection are available through other sources, I’d just as soon acquire them here.
