In everything we do, we believe in raising the standard of veterinary care to new heights. We believe in caring for every pet like our own. Now, meet the team who will care for yours. Dr. Jennifer Teitelbaum, owner of Mulberry Grove Animal Hospital, began practicing veterinary medicine in 1996. A native Floridian, Dr. Teitelbaum graduated from the University of Florida College of Veterinary Medicine with high honors.
We believe that every pet we see deserves gold standard veterinary care. That starts with routine exams. We schedule our appointments to be 30 minutes long, which is longer than typical, so that our team has time to thoroughly discuss your pet's needs, answer all your questions, provide helpful guidance, and perform a complete examination of your pet's health.
Dentistry for Dogs and Cats Dental health is a critical part of your pet's overall health and pain levels. We provide professional dental cleanings on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays. During this procedure, we clean the tartar beneath your pet's gum lines so that we can reverse periodontal disease.
Bathing isn't all we do. We have a professional groomer too! Stop in for a consult and meet our groomer, Jennifer, and bring your furry friend in, too. For our pets who do not require as much attention to their "do" we also offer a spa-like bathing option. We use the hydro surge bathing system which allows the shampoo to be combined with water and oxygen helping it to penetrate the coat more effectively as well as offer a more thorough rinse.
Emergencies are accepted anytime our clinic is open. If you feel you have an emergency with your pet please call us. A staff member will advise you on your particular emergency and alert the staff of the situation. Urgent Care visits will be managed between our regularly scheduled appointments, please note wait times may be longer.

I was very disappointed. I know we weren’t their regular customer but we were referred to them. Our cat was doing very bad and just wanted to hear from a professional their thoughts. Wouldn’t see us and then referred us to another vet that wasn’t even open. Our baby passed at home about 6 hours later…

Dr. Kathy McLaughlin and Molly were so professional, understanding and caring during our visit. We brought in our cat due to an emergency and unfortunately had to put him to sleep but Dr. McLaughlin and Molly made the whole visit bearable. The doctor explained everything so we understand the situation and our options clearly. Always extremely happy bringing any fur baby here, doesn't matter if it's my personal baby or a rescue. All the staff is always so helpful and great. We were vacationing in Ocala when we noticed our puppy Lexi’s right eye bothering her. Mulberry Grove was able to schedule us an appointment for later in the afternoon on the same day I called & then called me back after they’d had a cancellation for that same morning. Dr. Sutton, Taylor and the rest of the team took great care of Lexi and treated us as if we were long time patients. Very caring pet care. Mulberry Grove has cared for our 15 year old cat for several years now including bladder stone surgery and prescription thyroid management. We have always been impressed that the Drs call to discuss and interpret any test results. The staff are true care givers and the facility is always spotless.
