Great place, but horrible personal experience and they suffer in building maintenance and management. Lived here 6 months, paid extra and was first tenant in a 1 bedroom penthouse on 18th floor. Main issue was an incredibly loud whistle from central building air ducts that happened to go right through my apartment walls. They agreed it was bad, Milton maintenance spent 4 months trying to figure it out, ended up turning off the central ventilation system to the building for 1.5 months until they could fix it. Never could figure it out. They ended up just giving up and turning the ventilation back

The Milton is a wonderful place to call home, but the staff truly makes this place different! Arie is so helpful and is so accommodating. He is a true asset to this company, and The Milton would not be what it is without him. David, who works in maintenance, is superb too. He is quick and helpful with anything you need done. I can’t say enough about this place and the outstanding staff.

Lived at the Milton for a year while I was teaching at Albion College.
By far, this was the BEST building I have ever lived in during my 15+ years of renting. I moved to Battle Creek from out of state, so I chose my unit sight-unseen, and I couldn't have been happier once I arrived.
I had a corner 1-bedroom unit that was uber quiet (the only sound I ever heard was live music from Clara's, the park, or the Christmas parade). The interior finishes were beautiful and super functional, and the building itself is a gem (who doesn't want to live in a piece of restored history?). The gym has two Pelotons

I've been in Battle Creek for about 5 years and this will be the 4th apartment community I live in. We've been here for 2 days. The Milton tops my list of amenities, noise, value, cleanliness, responsiveness and the the actual units themselves. The few residents we've met on the elevator seemed very disgruntled about how maintenance issues are handled but all seemed very minor compared to what I've typically dealt with in Battle Creek. Overall, glad to finally call this home!

This is a beautiful, well managed place to call home. From the first visit with Arie, I knew The Milton would be an awesome living experience. I am SO thankful for the kindness and professionalism I have encountered and look forward to coming home each day to my beautiful view. Arie is the best at making tenants feel like guests!
