Services
Our philosophy at TLC Schools is to offer our families the highest quality of educational programs and childcare combined with a safe and secure environment in which a child can grow and develop. It is our goal to provide an atmosphere where each child can experience success on a daily basis, build a positive self-image, and acquire a lifelong love of learning.
At TLC, our top priority is your child's safety and security. Our open-door policy at TLC allows parents to stop by any time and we use state-of-the-art technology to control access to our facilities. Parents are required to pass a security check at the front door using a personal identification number.
My daughter learned and shows kindness and compassion from her teachers setting the example and enforcing what a good friend is. I truly believe she will go far in life because of the love she has for learning that all started at TLC. Thank you TLC for having EXCELLENT staffs and teachers for great teaching and nurturing!
Our infant caregivers will spend one-on-one time talking and playing with your infant as well as group activities. Caregivers use calm, pleasant voices when communicating with infants as well as face to face interaction. While communicating with infants, teachers will both imitate baby's sounds as well as offering dialogue about the environment and activities to encourage language development.
At this precious age, toddlers' little minds are a sponge for learning opportunities. Toddlers are busy little people who love to climb, explore, build, and create. They are developing many new skills in their quest for independence by walking, talking, and discovering who they are and what they can do.

I worked at this school and ended my 30 year carrier of teaching at this school. So my view will be from the inside. For me. TLC was an enchanted place. The director who hired me has since retired but, she was as real as real could be. She was hard but fair. Mrs Angela who was the curriculum director at the time, is now, the director. Ms Angela works very hard she always did her best to make sure things were done well. Also she is very Creative! OMG! Ms Angela knows the business inside out. Upon my departure she was taking her place as director. Ms.Angela is a very dedicated to that children,

My daughter started at TLC at 5 months old. I was a first time mom going back to work and beyond nervous and scared to leave my baby in the care of someone I did not know. Our daughter has now been coming to TLC for 2+ years and I consider this staff family and this facility a second home to my daughter. In each class as my daughter has moved up, I have absolutely loved the teachers she has had. Even when my daughter was going through a tough phase around 18 months, the teachers and director worked with me on a plan of action to aid my daughter in getting back on track. I am so blessed and grateful

As a former employee, when I first started working for TLC it was amazing, everyone was nice and understanding of the main focus was on the kids. I ended leaving and coming back around the beginning of the year and as I did so much has changed, the personality and spirit wasn't there anymore. I chose to quit tlc because of the verbal treatment and the feeling that I didn't beling there anymore, I worked with a specific boss who was very rude and passive aggressive on how she would talk to the staff I even asked others that I worked with to make sure that I wasn't just assuming this

For the parents of students at TLC , that are supportive, involved and more or less co-parent with the staff teachers and administrators, this school is peace of mind. Because their children are with us most of the day. And they have access to everything that their child do during the day.
For many of the students, they are not aware of the learning taking place. They just know they have fun.
I’m MS. J., a teacher teacher at TLC . I can testify that for the teachers working here is a lot of hard work. For the administrators and Mr Charlie it is double the work! For the two wonderful attentive

I am an employee of TLC Schools and I'm so happy that my daughter has had the opportunity to attend this school. My daughter is constantly impressing our family with how well she can speak and sign among other skills. Every teacher she has had has invested in her development as well as her classmates and that's all I could ever ask for.

Our child was at TLC Schools from 12 weeks to 2.5 years. The Director of this school is the embodiment of "should not work in a service industry." She was unnecessarily combative and unprofessional which ultimately led to us moving our child to a Primrose location.

I was scared of putting my child in someone else’s care but this place made my life so easy. They really take good care of my baby and I am glad I chose them. They believe in interacting with parents which helps them to help the baby adjust to the new environment and be comfortable with new people. They listened to my baby’s needs and my baby is happy to be there.

Angela at the front office would flirt with my husband at the time and quickly set him up with a employee during our divorce. They also provided favoritism to the other parent because he has a badge. Professional? Absolutely not. The mosquitos from the creek behind the school were terrible and caused main issues since the playground equipment backs up to it. The school had a high profile case and all of the workers had to sign a nondisclosure agreement but then proceeded to gossip about it to the parents anyways. I will be in contact with the affected parent. The workers all complain about the

The turnover rate is the absolute worst I've ever seen. Management does not care about their employees. They won't even let them use the restroom on the clock. They only care about the kids well being if parents complain to them. Don't enroll your kids and don't work here. They over work you and don't care.

I absolutely disagree with the negative comments about the management team and about the quality of the School. My step-daughter was a student from age 1-4 and was taught everything from walking to reading by the time she left. Our blended family situation was extremely complicated and everyone from Corporate on down to the Director, Curriculum Coordinator, etc. were helpful and understanding. This is a school with many children that view it as a second home, is beautifully maintained, very clean and extremely secure as there are working video cameras everywhere legally possible! My child has been going to TLC since he was 3 months old and now he is a well groomed and well behaved 7 year old kid. We owe a lot to TLC for the love, care and knowledge building they have provided to our kid. I can't speak high enough about TLC. It is never easy to leave your infant in care of others as new parents. But, it did not take too long to observe and feel the love and tender TLC teachers and staff provided to our kid. Whether it is learning how to eat finger food or diaper training or learning how to use computer mouse or value of holding doors for others or habit of reading books

We've been using TLC Hedgcoxe for 2 1/2 years. We love it here! My daughter loves her teachers and has fun every day. The teachers care about my daughter and inform me about her days and accomplishments all the time.
We love the service we get from teachers and office staff. They know me and my daughter. I feel good dropping her off every day or even at the Parent's Night Out that they host every month. I appreciate the personal attention we receive and how much they care about my child and our family!

I highly recommend TLC Hedgcoxe as a high-quality, superior education day care. My daughter started there at 14 wks old and recently graduated from Pre-K at TLC. The staff was very receptive to our needs and any concerns through the years and I always felt confident that the happiness and safety of the children was their first priority without question. The teachers are extremely competent and caring and really love the children. Our daughter was always SO happy every day when we picked her up and loved the teachers and kids there. She learned so much during her five years and developed a great

We have been going to TLC since my daughter was an infant. It has now been over seven years that we have stayed there, And I attribute it to all of the loving teachers that we've had over the years! My son who is now 2 1/2 goes there and has had a great experience! The teachers that we have had and the directors, Natalie and Taylor always go above and beyond for my family! We are so grateful for the teachers that we have had there, And most of them are the same for my son that they were for my daughter!

I totally disagree with the negative post below. TLC is a great childcare facility and I would highly recommend them to anyone in the market. Natalie has always been very open and honest with me good or bad any any other interactions with anyone at this facility have always been genuine. I cant imagine the pressure of having to watch, manage and maintain a business that takes care of so many precious children so maybe some of the negative reviewers should approach another point of view. I would much rather the school devote all of their attention to the kids rather than worrying about pleasing

For busy parents like ourselves, this place is wonderful!!! We interviewed several different types of learning centers in this area, and we knew this was the place for our son. The TLC Schools have very caring teachers. They take the time to explain to you your child's day. TLC offers the Watch Me Grow cameras so that you can see how your child interacts with others, and so that you and your family can actually watch them learn and play all day. Our son has has food allergies, not only does the management team accomodate us by offering alternative meals, but the chef is always willing to bake a
