These classes offer a flexible schedule or specialized direction for children ages 4 to 5 years old. The Little Tiger class is perfect for helping to develop gross and fine motor skills that involve the movements and coordination of the arms, hands, fingers, wrists, legs, feet and toes.
Yong In Martial Arts Little Tiger Program helps with developing good winning habits in the areas of respect, focus, coordination, balance, self- control and teamwork skills. Each child is taught at his or her own pace to develop their skills and bring out their maximum potential. We here at Yong-In of Franklin provide professional and encouraging staff that are happy to help on their way to an "I can do it" attitude.

Here at Yong In, our instructors specialize in working with your child to bring out that "I can do it" attitude. Classes are divided by belt colors and age groups to provide them with the best possible match of teaching style. While in class they will improve in self-discipline for better behavior at home and in school, develop self-confidence, sharpen listening skills, improve strength, coordination and athletic abilities.
The Red/Black Belt symbolizes caution. At this stage The student has reached the twilight of his/her physical training and is approaching black belt. The Tae Kwon Do student must proceed with caution since the black belt presents many pitfalls and dangers. Taking the fist step is easy and the best way to start is by taking an introductory class.
We believe in teaching our students patience through hard work because, firstly, a strong body gives you confidence & secondly, patience makes you a better listener with better focus & self discipline, therefore anything is possible. Practicing Martial Arts at Yong In students learn to control their feelings, emotions and impulses.

My daughter has been attending since she was 5 years old and recently earned her black belt.
Discipline, perseverance, courage are key attributes you will possess if you work hard. Master Jeong runs an excellent dojang. My daughter recently competed in her first tournament, she followed what she was told to do during the tournament by master Jeong and she did very well.
As a parent I enjoy the community of parents, this feels like a second family in many ways.
Highly recommended if you are looking for authentic Korean Tae Kwon do and not some watered down Americanized version. Great dojang,

My 9-year-old son and I have been studying taekwondo for two years at Yong In. We love the instruction and family-friendly atmosphere. We are fortunate to learn under the watchful eye of Master Jeong who instills respect, a good work ethic and a lot of fun in each class. He is great with kiddos, us older folks and everyone in between.
We eagerly accept the challenge of learning new skills, Korean vocabulary and Poomse. It is exciting to see the kids grow in confidence, technique and leadership skills while encouraging fellow students along.
Master Jeong, Mister Garrett and Mister Alex are a wonderful

Don't sign contract with them!!!! They pretty much stole your money and pretend they don't know. There are so many better places around that teaches similar the same things.
Update:
After the review above I got a nasty comment of this review and a nasty private message. I attached them below. Just a reminder to whoever wants to sign yourself or your KIDS up this is what you are dealing with. Already reported to the law enforcement and will take necessary actions.

I have been training at Yong In for seven years, having just recently tested for my Third Degree Black Belt. I trained under Master Koh, the founder, until three months ago when Master Jeung took over. Building on the strong foundation I learned over the last seven years, Master Jeung has introduced a new level of excitement and motivation to my training. Each day brings a new mental and physical challenge to each student, whether a white belt, colored belt or black belt.

My son and I have been going to Yong In Martial Arts for almost 3 years. We like the fact that we can do the class as a family. It gives me the opportunity to spend time with him and exercise at the same time! We started our lessons under Master Koh and more recently under the leadership of Master Jeong. We are very pleased with the new class structure and curriculum. It is well organized and promotes discipline and respect. Highly recommend it!

We have been going to Yong In Martial Arts Academy for over three years and my kids love it. Master Koh is very patient with the kids and teaches them to be respectful and to work hard. The support team is very helpful with building technique. The hours are very accommodating and easy to attend during the school year. I would highly recommend.

I am disgusted at how difficult they make the process of cancelling. I was very upfront with the owner about my circumstances and that I would only enroll if he assured me that I would be able to cancel at any time as I was going to be starting police academy but not sure of the date. The owner assured me that I would be able to cancel at anytime and that the paper that I was signing was not a contract but only permission for them to take automatic payments from my account. Now, I will go ahead and be the first to state that I was extremely naïve and did not read over the form like I should have
