My distance off the tee has increased drastically and my hips hurt less and less each month. I love Bill Meyer's "Total Body" approach to training. Rather than isolating muscles one at a time, he targets the whole body, requiring core strength and balance to complete each exercise. I had the pleasure of being trained by Bill during his last two years in Austin, TX.

Training with the experts at Meyer Fitness is life changing! I knew I needed to step up my workouts as the scale edged higher but I couldn't find the motivation to go to a run-of-the-mill gym. Finally, I made a commitment to invest in myself and my health. I returned to Meyer Fitness and set a goal to get back to my wedding weight and physique. My trainers at Meyer Fitness listened to my goals and built creative custom training programs for me. They held me accountable when I wasn't pushing myself to achieve what I had set out to accomplish. A year later, I have not felt stronger or healthier.

I have been going to Meyer Fitness for more than a year now and I can honestly say it's more than a place to get fit. The 5:30PM Fitness Playground has become something I look forward to Mon-Thurs! I have seen my body change over the last year and I am continually motivated by the coaches and playground classmates. I wholeheartedly recommend anyone in Hampton Roads to give this gym a try - you won't regret it!

I reached out to Bill Meyer after a crush injury left me in seriously bad shape. Could he work with someone who could only wear a shoe for a few minutes? Could he train me knowing I was lopsided and knew absolutely nothing about Olympic lifting? Enthusiastic yes. We've been working together to build strength and confidence, to explore the limits of my capabilities, to put goals up and then smash them. Everything about our sessions is personal and catered 100% to where I am that day. We share my victories, celebrate anyway when lifts don't go up (how else will you know your limit if you don't fail

I've been going to Meyer Fitness for about 7 months now and LOVE it. The 5:30 class time is perfect for me- right after work- no excuses! And we get an awesome, FUN, and unique workout every day. Lauren and Bill (owners and trainers) are the absolute best and treat everyone like family. They accommodate all skill levels and know when to push you harder- love that personal aspect. Have made some great new friends in my trainers and fellow workout buddies. Can't recommend Meyer Fitness enough!

Meyer Fitness is an incredible place for people of all different fitness levels. Never have I been in a gym that is more welcoming, excepting, and fun than Meyer Fitness. The owners practice what they preach, and are always willing to lend a helping hand in anyway possible. No matter what the day brings at Meyer Fitness, you can always count on it being challenged, and having fun. The workouts are diverse, tough, and never boring. Their slogan couldn't describe this gym any better "Serious training, SERIOUSLY fun"
