In the 6th century DaRuMa traveled from India to China preaching Buddhism. Known as the father of Zen, DaRuMa spent the entire last nine years of his life in meditation. Famous words attributed to the man were "seven times fall down, eight times get up again." Today in Japan, many festivals are held in celebration of the success and good luck of DaRuMa, as well they should.

In the sixth century DaRuMa traveled from India to China preaching Buddhism. Known as the father of Zen, DaRuMa spent the entire last nine years of his life in meditation. Famous words attributed to the man were: "seven times fall down, eight times get up again." Daruma dolls such as the one shown here are hollow and round Japanese wish dolls with no arms or legs, modeled after Bodhidharma.

Michael the manager was extremely polite and professional. It's not an easy job to manage and keep a restaurant organized especially when it's dinner and a show. I'm in the service industry so I recognize these things and thought he did a wonderful job. I sat at the bar and the food and service was superb.

Our overall experience was definitely only better thanks to the great server we had, Alex. He was super polite and attentive from the beginning to the end, top notch service. Thank you Alex! Hibachi itself was I would say good and chef put decent show, but would I come again in the next 6 months because of it or the food they prepare on the grill, probably no. Plus if you aren’t the only one at the hibachi grill and if sharing the space with somebody like bigger groups and families, it can be a little tight. But I would come back to try something different. Sushi I got as an appetizer was real

Too much noise and non sense music, giving ears pain after leaving it, the place and tables are very dirty, often it smells burned food, cookers play with food throwing it over customers heads, food price is very high price and customers receive small portions or bad quality of food, soup is only hot water and nothing else on it, salad is only green lettuce, price is 5 USD for only 2 spring rolls which were full of oil and flavor was terrible. Customers need to wait too much at hall or to be accommodated, food takes long time to arrive or get ready, bar and bathrooms are very dirty. High price
