Hunan Beijing
Since 1985, Hunan Beijing has been serving the Chicago Northwest Suburbs. We've since relocated in a chic new Asian look - with our classic dishes such as Governor's Chicken, Mongolian Beef and Beijing Shrimp. If you're craving spicy hot, we also have our homemade spicy hot sauce; and any dish can be prepared spicy.

Try our Sichuan entrees - they're spectacular! We stir-fry charred red peppers with beef, chicken or shrimp; then, top it with peanuts. Experience a wide variety of Chinese dishes at Hunan Beijing Restaurant. All of our customers leave us with a satisfied appetite and a craving to come back for more.

Wow, I am so disappointed! I used to dine here a few years ago and enjoyed it very much. This time, I was worried when I walked in to pick up my order because there was a strong smell of old grease. We ordered five dishes, and every one is the same color: brown. Hardly a hint of a vegetable, including the vegetable dish. And it all tastes off - my dining partner says “like the middle of a highway”. So sad!

I came in from NYC to help my sister take care of her newborn. After feeling under the weather on a rainy day I ordered from here and let me say what an absolutely delicious gem of a place this is. Extremely well made and flavorful, you can feel the care in each meal prepared. Thank you for nursing me back to health Hunan Beijing! Everything was incredible

We have been going here for a few years . The food used to be so good. It has definitely changed. Yesterday we went and we ordered the same thing we always do , orange chicken and Mongolian beef. They were both awful. The chicken and beef were so chewy and tasteless, the tea and sweet and sour sauce were so watered down. When we told the waitress about our meals she told me that's how it's supposed to be. She ignored that the beef was awful and did nothing about it. She did replace my chicken with something else but wasn't very nice about it. Very disappointed we have to find

One of the best restaurants in the northwest suburbs. The food is fresh, seasoned well, cooked to perfection, and always delicious. The staff is like family and are always friendly.

I have had takeout from this restaurant twice and decided to try dine-in. Betty made my visit amazing! She is super friendly and really makes you feel at home. She knows the menu well and can help you with accommodations if you have an allergy, like my boyfriend and I. My food was amazing, but the service I received from Betty was the best by far. I will be returning, please support local business like this one with amazing people like Betty.

This place has so good chinese dishes. I bought the kuna pao chicken lunch dinner and the food was flavorful. The portions are okay for the price, I usually find that I can split my lunch order into two meals with most Chinese restaurants, however this order could be split to 1.5 portions.

This place was pretty good. not my favorite Chinese food place but its not bad! my only complaint is the food needs more sauce! its a little bland. we got lettuce wraps, fried rice, dumplings, and beef and broccoli
we added the sauce from the dumplings to the fried rice, which made it SUPER delicious.
honestly, the left overs were amazing. i almost liked it better the next day!
great portions too!! i can see myself coming back.
Thanks!

Between working from home and home schooling, Hunan Beijing is here to rescue us at lunch time with hot and delicious food combo-ed with fast delivery! What sets this restaurant apart from your typical Chinese take-out restaurants is that they take the extra effort to use quality ingredients and cut down on msg and sodium, making this mom feeling less guilty on busy days when homemade lunch is just not happening!

My favorite go-to's are shrimp toast, orange chicken, Mongolian beef, and chicken on sticks. Seriously...chicken on sticks...(white meat chicken with sweet soy sauce) is mom&apos

Chicken fried rice is delicious and they provide large portions. Excellent service as well, we had take out and the owner gave us quite a few additional egg rolls because we were first time customers.

Glad they've been re opened for pick up. I love their tofu wrap dish. Betty is an amazing waitress. Their vegetable dish with tofu is my Mom's favorite. Great food and such reasonable prices. I try to order from here at least once a month.

Wonderful food. This is the second time we have eaten here. We ordered the walnut shrimp & lemon chicken tonight and loved them! The sweetest family ever owns this restaurant and they truly want you to have a wonderful experience. It's nice to see owners who care so much! We will be forever customers!

The orange beef had a slightly burnt taste to it and the "noodles" in the sea food Chow Mein were fried wonton strips.

The servings are large for its size though so that's plus.

Probably one of the worst Chinese food I ever had. The seafood crispy noodle we got didn't even have noodles. They used fried wonton skin as a substitute for the noodles. The crispy beef is also very soggy and overly salted. If you're looking for authentic Chinese food do not go here.

My wife and I love this restaurant. Great Chinese food. We particularly enjoy the Hunan Chicken and find it to be spicier than the Kung Pao Chicken, and since we operate on the theory "the more spice the better" it seems to be the way to go. I also enjoyed the Hot and Spicy Chinese Dumplings. These are essentially potstickers drenched in a delightfully spicy sauce. But order whatever you want. It's all good. The staff is always friendly. It's especially important to support our favorite restaurants right now.

I was looking forward to this place, but was slightly disappointed. The noodles had no flavor and were extremely oily, the potstickers has way too much ginger in it and the meat was more of a paste. I might have gotten a bad batch, because it came right back up.

The crab rangoons are delIcious as are all their soups. I will give this place another try to see if I just got a bad batch, but I was not at all impressed.

Probably my favorite (Americanized) Chinese restaurant in this area of the suburbs. Great prices, large menu, good food temperature, fresh ingredients, good service, fast cooking, very nice decor, large tables, lower-sodium cooking, easy parking, and they speak both Cantonese and Mandarin. Plus, they serve Wei-Chuan tea which is a little better than normal for restaurants that use tea bags (you won't really find anyone using high grade loose-leaf in this area) and water has a slight touch of citrus in it.

I have to give some credit to the food for being Americanized, while also sticking to

I was dying to try Hunan Beijing and it didn't disappoint whatsoever!!! Hot, fresh, flavorful food! The owners were very welcoming and personable—I left with a smile. No wonder this establishment has been this successful since 1985. I left with the lunch special, which you also can't beat at $7.50! Fried rice, an entree, egg roll, and soft drink (soup if you sit-in) made for a sizable, filling portion. It's the best when you have high expectations of a restaurant, and they are met. Do visit Hunan Beijing, and you won't be disappointed. I've found my new favorite Chinese restaurant in the Northwest
