Fantastic steak. We both got the filet mignon (medium) and it was excellent. It came with sauce on the side but honestly that was unnecessary. The steak on its own was flavorful and juicy.
Potatoes were solid; broccoli was, well, broccoli. Bread beforehand was decent.
We got the chocolate cake to go and would not recommend it. The waitress didn’t show us a dessert menu (and we couldn’t find one online), so we didn’t realize it had some kind of berry sauce on top. Additionally, the cake was three layers: chocolate frosting, chocolate mousse, and chocolate cake. That last layer (cake) was

Emma was hands down the best server we've ever had. Went with a party of 4 and all of us were laughing and having a great time. Food was absolutely delicious and prepared perfectly. Owner greeted us and took us to our table, and checked in on us throughout the evening. Ambiance was gorgeous and the bathrooms were very clean. Will definitely be returning!!!

Worst customer service. My wife and I went for our wedding anniversary and we were excited it was our first time at Prime Steak House. Employees made it horrible. First thing we ordered salad and it was not fresh. Manager said the “refrigerator was not working” why did you serve it at the first place? Would you eat it? Worst customer service I have ever had. They could’ve fixed it and they didn’t even apologize AT ALL. I couldn’t believe the waitress and the manager were ignorant and unprofessional. And when I was leaving by the exit the manager was like “the temperature is ##” He

Service was superb from the moment we walked in and were greeted by the maitre'd and owner. Very classy old world style and vibes. Our server was also fantastic. Food and wine were quite good as well. Overall, excellent meal in a classic Chicago steakhouse ambience. Not cheap but a good steakhouse usually isn’t.

I’ve been to this particular Chicago Prime Steakhouse a number of times, and usually for some type of family gathering. This particular visit was for Mother’s Day. As usual, upon entry we were happily greeted and tended to. The staff was very pleasant and they showed us to our table rather promptly. Our server was great too and was always engaged. The food was amazing but costly (which is expected when you visit such a high quality steakhouse). I had a slab of ribs with a twice baked potato and both were awesome. The ribs were meaty and I was unable to finish. But that just means I get ribs

This was our first visit and it was amazing. We were celebrating dating for 1 year and Chicago Prime Steakhouse made our special day even more special. The moment we walked in we were greeted by a professional and pleasing host. The decor was breathtaking. The dining atmosphere was cozy and private although you were surrounded by other diners. The owner, George, came to our table and welcomed us to his restaurant. It was a pleasure to see the owner engage with his customers. The drinks were amazing! Me and my husband came here for our 1 year wedding anniversary looking for somewhere special and this place did not disappoint! We were looking for ethically sourced meat (halal) and the worker there told us they use a halal company so we were pleasantly surprised that this place by us existed. We ordered The New York strip and the filet mignon- both so good with a side of also delicious creamy garlic mashed potatoes. And The dessert was the cherry on top! Amazing.
