I have been to alot of salons in Richmond area seeking a stylist who knows how to cut short hair. I finally found the BEST at Karina's, Maria is AWSOME, for a ladies short haircut!!

10/10 recommend Madeline! I went in for my first color/cut and was so pleased with the end product. She listened to what I wanted, while also working her professional magic to make it look amazing. I so appreciate her time and dedication!

The cut and color I received today from Candice exceeded my hopes and expectations.
Candace took into consideration the texture of my hair, shape of my head and the goals I had for my appearance.
Candice also skillfully corrected the over texturizing and damage that was caused by poor haircuts from another Carytown salon two blocks away.
She is a professional and truly thinks about how to execute her craft to best serve the client.
I will only entrust my haircuts and color to Candice and the warm professional staff at Karina's Salon going forward.

I was seeing Darryl for almost 2 years, after he left, I was devastated. I loved the atmosphere, family oriented feeling and customer friendly service from Karina's Salon. I decided to try Brandi because she was always smiling and laughing with her customers! I picked the right stylist because she knows exactly what I need at each visit! She is awesome, personable, caring and super energetic. I get almost anything and everything done to my hair (Roots, highlights, haircuts etc) and each time I walk out extremely satisfied with my hair style. I had the absolute best time at karina's! Aaren was an amazing hair stylist, I absolutely loved my hair color, cut and shampoo. The $$ is worth it! The staff was very welcoming. I am new to Richmond and I called the day of to see their availability. They were very friendly able to fit me in at the last minute. My stylist was Cathy and she was very friendly and easy to consult with! I wanted to change up my hair without doing anything too drastic and she was able to adjust to my ideas about layers and angles even after blowing out my hair. I got a regular cut with partial highlights and the price was extremely reasonable compared to a lot of salons I've been to. Not happy with the way I was treated on my wedding day. The two girls doing my hair were late because they "had to get breakfast" and it threw off my entire morning. My hair looked decent enough. Won't go back.

It's been my first time to Karina's and I am truly happy with my experience from walking through their door. I took a few photo's to show Toni the Ombre I was looking for. I walked IN the door with brassy hair, and a lot of regrowth. I walked out with supermodel (Gisele Bundchen) hair. My new hair color is also beautiful and shiny. My husband loves it. :)

I found out about Karina's over 15 years ago after I stopped a woman in a store and asked where she got her hair cut. I've been visiting Karina's ever since. Chris has been my stylist and he's wonderful. I am always bringing in pictures on my phone of what I want my hair to look like and he works his usual magic.

I feel like Karina's Salon is one of Richmond's hidden treasures. It's tucked at the back of a former church that also houses a restaurant and other boutiques. I won't scrimp on quality haircuts and my suggestion is that you shouldn't either

Today was my first visit to Karina's and I was definitely impressed. After moving from Atlanta I needed to find a salon here in Richmond. It's in Carytown, making it super convenient and it's in the gorgeous 3325 building.

Tiffany was my stylist and she was wonderful! She was young, fun, and incredibly personable. She made it all very easy, enjoyable and she listened quite well to exactly what I wanted. The conversation flowed naturally and we didn't have any of those awkward silences.

This salon is kinda fuddy duddy, filled with old ladies, but I have to agree with the other reviewers Charles gives awesome haircuts so I followed him here.

One thing I do not like is the hard sell for ridiculously over priced hair products here.

The whole salon is lovely (and the nearby shopping while you wait is an added bonus) but I am writing to give my five stars to Charles Flood. Hands down he is the best hairstylist I have ever had - a genius with cuts and color who really seems to "get" his clients and know how to make them look their best.
