Regular checkups and preventative care will ensure that your pet stays healthy. Key Animal Clinic will be able to keep track of your pet's progress with regular care. We can provide treatment plans for your pet and help you provide the right care for them at home. We perform all laboratory work here at the clinic, including complete blood counts, chemistry profiles, electrolyte panel testing, and urinalysis.
Dr. Priya Dahanukar is a certified veterinary acupuncturist, and we are proud to have her on our staff as one of the few veterinary acupuncturists in the area. For smaller animals, the inserting of acupuncture needles is essentially painless. Larger needles for large animals may cause some pain, but once the needles are in place, there should be no pain felt.

Dr. D was recommended from a client at my former veterinary practice (I was a veterinary assistant for 7 years) when she heard I was moving across the country for graduate school. She’s always very good with my cats, especially as we’ve worked through medical issues with both cats in the last year. The cost is also significantly cheaper than my previous clinic.

If you're anything like me you get anxiety going to the doctors. Taking my pet to the vet is no different but, the staff at key made our visit as smooth and easy as possible. I was referred to Dr. D for acupuncture for my 15yr old shepherd mix with degenerative myelopathy. My vet agreed I should try it. I had a great visit. Dr. D did the acupuncture session, but she also gave me some prescriptions as well as supplements & exercises for him, and I really appreciate the integrative approach.

We have been going here for around two years. The vets themselves are fine. Not super personal but did the job. The vet techs and secretaries are another story. We’ve been treated with unkindness, and the secretaries have been quite rude over the phone and in person. Time to look for another vet with a better overall environment. Also- prices are outrageous!

My experience has always been great! All of the doctors and staff are friendly & professional! It is also very affordable compared to other vets for immunizations. I had an emergency situation for my puppy & I was very thankful I was able to pay the full amount up front! Highly recommend for your fur babies!

Love this place! Everyone is very friendly and helpful throughout the entire process, from check-in to check-out. Our kitty actually doesn't mind coming and they handle him with the best of care. Even if something unforeseen happens, they make sure that the pets are well taken care of. I love my senior discount!

I absolutely love this place and apparently so does my dog because I have to drag him out the place. The staff is super friendly and attentive. I needed to be soon asap due to my puppy showing signs of sickness and they got me in that day. Plus they give student discounts which is a win win in my book.

This is one of the best groups of doctors in Lubbock. My experiences were always positive here with my 3 pets over the span of 5 years, and from what I've seen the prices are very reasonable, and the vets don't over-treat to pad the invoice. I know several people who have taken their pets to Dr. Key for 40+ years, and he is regarded as one of the best diagnostic vets in town. Dr. D is always so friendly and just adores your pets as much as you do. I'm pretty sure this clinic also offers physical therapy and more invasive surgeries, as well, so it's a good deal. I would recommend
