Tredway-Pollitt Funrl Home
Tredway Funeral Home has been proudly serving our friends and neighbors throughout the Greater Cincinnati area since 1892. We are locally owned and operated and this is the reason for our service spanning three centuries. Our elegant and spacious facility is conveniently located for those that we serve.

We can also provide services at the church of your choice or any other location. We will work with all faiths and with all fraternal and Armed Services organizations. Our purpose is to work with you to provide that special and meaningful service that your loved one deserves.
Services
At Tredway Funeral Home, we take great pride in caring for our families, and will work tirelessly to provide you with a beautiful, lasting tribute to your loved one. In addition to the services we offer, you will receive an online memorial that you can share with family and friends. While honoring your loved one is our top priority, we also want to help you through this difficult time.
The Tredway Funeral Home in Norwood dates from 1892. It was originally established by Oscar Tredway and his brother Decature, as a combination funeral business and livery stable at 4141 Montgomery Rd. The original building faced Cameron Ave at the L.&L. R.R. crossing. This building was remodelled in 1897 with an imposing stone frontage.
A funeral service is a special time for family and friends to comfort one another, begin to find healing and celebrate a life well lived. Whether you choose burial or cremation, you can hold a funeral service to honor your loved one. We are happy to provide a traditional funeral or something completely unique.
The arrangements you make will reflect your exact wishes and desires. Pre-arranging your own service will help to ease the burden of your loved ones. It will also alleviate any questions, problems or differences, which can occur among family members. Pre-payment will protect you from the rising cost of prices, and it will not be a financial burden on your loved ones.
Meaningful memorialization of a loved one's passing can transform, heal, and comfort us. It highlights our loved ones' sacrifices, reminds us of the things that they value, and inspires us with their life stories. Have the Talk of a Lifetime, a program created by The Funeral and Memorial Information Council, was designed to help families have meaningful conversations about the things that matter most in their lives.

Jeff and other prior owners have been wonderful, caring people who have helped us with 3 members of my family in 1974, 1987 and 2019. We prepaid for the 2019 service and Jeff executed perfectly with all the arrangements. highly recommend this honest and reputable funeral service. Bob Baglien

Would like to express My deepest Thank you to Jeff at Tredway-Pollitt-Straver Funeral Home.
We lost our grandson Michael Tyler Ritchie December 15, 2014 at the age of 20. Jeff was very caring of our needs and handled everything we needed to make our lost of Michael in a very private and personal way. This was the hard thing we have ever had to deal with in our inter life. Jeff again Thank you for caring about our lost.
