Alta Vista does a terrific job. Everything is timely and proactive, and we get plenty of notification if there is a problem at our rental, so we have time to figure out the best path forward. Our statements are on time every month and we get quick positive responses to any questions that we have. We just don't have any recommendations for improvement.
The fastest way to address a maintenance issue is to report it online through the tenant portal. If there is fire, any threat to your safety, or late night noise complaints, please call 911. As noted in your lease, it is the tenant's responsibility to transfer and pay for all utilities (Gas & Electric, Trash, Water, Sewer, TV, Phone, Internet, etc.) unless otherwise stated in writing by Alta Vista Properties.
Rent is due on the first of every month. At move-in, you are invited to set up electronic payments via our online system, making it very easy to pay rent on time. It can be paid electronically with an e-check or a credit card. In addition, tenants are always welcome to mail or bring their rent check to our office.

Alta vista management is by far the worst management company i have ever dealt with. Very poor ethics with 0 concern for the people paying them rent every month! They tried fining us along with other units in our building 500 dollars a unit for a mess on there property that was not ours and left by previous tenets. when i talked to kathy she was very unprofessional and rude. Told me that if i did not pay it she would send it to collections! Franky i believe they were trying to make money off of us. The 2 years i lived at there property was a nightmare. Really great property company. I haven’t had any problems with communication nor any complications living at one of their properties. Whenever I need help or maintenance, everyone is very easy to get ahold of and helpful when we need it! If we have a maintenance report, they have it fixed as soon as possible. Really appreciate them all!

This Property Management Team could not be any better. Anytime I have ever posted an issue they have come to service without hesitation or question. They are always polite and always give you plenty of notice if there is to be an inspection. Past property management companies have always felt invasive where with Alta Vista I have never experienced this once.

My wife and I are not major landlords. We own one nice rental home in PB which we take great pride in. Alta Vista has managed this property for about 5 years. Prior to that another well known company had been the property manager. There is no comparison. Alta Vista provides courteous, responsive and professional service. The owner Jackie Alexander is very active and knowledgeable. Her staff are pleasant and very focused on getting the job done. We have total faith in Alta Vista and hope the relationship continues for many years ahead.

The most professional, caring and honest real estate management agency I've ever had the pleasure of dealing with. The entire process from our first contact when trying to find a new home to rent, to post-move in maintenance was smooth, efficient, thorough and pleasant.
Alta Vista are a breath of fresh air. Normally, real estate management agents tell you anything they think you want to hear to get you to sign the contract. They'll tell you that lots of other people are ready to sign so you must sign immediately if you want the property (which is almost always BS), making it a very stressful experience

I was in need of property management help in a somewhat unusual situation, and I was put in contact with Jackie, Alta Vista's President. We spoke a few times on the phone and I was really looking forward to working with her and her team. Ultimately I ended up backing out - which
