Since 1968, Ridgewood Pre-School has worked to make learning fun and exciting without pressure. We look forward to scheduling a visit to one of our classrooms! We will work on recognizing basic colors and shapes, relating figure and ground, discriminating gross and fine differences, listening comprehension, coloring, cutting and pasting.
We will strive for good motor co-ordination, both large and small, emotional development, independence, and good speech development; both phonetically and communicative. We will also be working on nursery rhymes and classic stories and some memorization. For students who will probably be starting kindergarten the following September, we are getting into more detailed work, hoping to lay a firm foundation for their future years.
