My name is Zach Escalera and I am here to help you achieve your individual goals, whether they be losing weight or improving the muscles you already have. I am certified through National Academy of Sports and Medicine, American College of Sports and Medicine, and I have an Associate's in Exercise Science, with three certifications in Personal Training and Nutrition.

I have been helping people achieve their goals for 9 1/2 years and have been doing so in their homes, at their gyms and at my current location at Pro Fitness Rx, which is located on 51st and Bell Road in Glendale, Arizona. I find that there is a fine line between motivating clients and pushing them depending on where their individual fitness levels currently are!

I started with Zach at Lionhart Fitness in May of 21. Having my neck fused a couple years started an overall decline in strength and gaining unwanted weight. Zach does a great job of customizing the workout based on your capabilities. In 6 short months, my strength is has more than tripled, body fat continues to decrease and it's all because Zach is hyper focused on maximizing your workout to your benefit. I have been working out with Zach of Lionhart Fitness for 4 months and couldn't be happier with the experience. Having never worked out before, I was one of those that walked into a gym, feeling intimidated and had no clue what to do. This review is overdue, I started coming to see Zach back in 2019 for some shoulder issues that had been plaguing me since 2018 and also the for the more typical reasons you decide to utilize a trainer.
It was a very frustrating first 6 months coming to grips with just how neglected not only my shoulders were but also the realization that the rest of my body was no longer 30 years old. I was ready to quit more that once, but Zach was patient with me yet a the same time tough and realistic. You don’t get a hall pass with him, be prepared to do what you say you signed on to do.

Zack is an awesome trainer. Super flexible and adjusts workouts as needed! He’s made working out something I look forward too. I have basically gone from negative 20 to probably a solid 10 in terms of strength in 7 months 3x week.started with No weight or lowest weight on almost every exercise and I can say on every single exercise I have gone up 2 weight levels or more. It really depends on what muscles we are isolating and the exercise. He is super motivating and encouraging. Could not recommend more.

Three months in and I cannot believe the difference it’s made! Before starting I was self conscious and had not worked out in years. I now feel confident, strong, and capable. I was so worried about trying to work out after kids, working full-time, and being in school. Zach has been so flexible in working with my schedule. Despite everything going on I consistently can do 4 sessions a week. It’s so much more than losing weight (but trust me I’ve done that too)! I look and feel the best I have in years. If you’re looking for a sign that it’s time for change - this is it!

Working with Zach is stress-free. He works with my work schedule to make sure we meet every week. When I get to the gym, he is prepared and ready to start the workout to meet my goals. Zach communicates effectively with any concerns and is also receptive to any muscle group focus to match my needs. Zach really cares about his clients. What’s important to you, is important to him. He will help you reach your goals. Just when you think you can’t push anymore, Zach gets you to push even harder. I started working with Zach in February 2020. I wanted to step up my game and get that extra push. I have been exercising most of my adult years and needed more insight on the proper techniques and exercises that will produce results.
He's super flexible as I've had to navigate work and personal commitments around my PT appointments, sometimes with short notice. Meal plans are solid and I enjoy the hard work that has shown results.
If you're looking for a personable, flexible, and motivating trainer, Zach is a great choice!

Zach is my dad and I’s trainer. We’ve been going to him for quite a while and we both love him, he’s awesome. You could see noticeable difference within the first few times of seeing him. He balances out your workouts so that you are getting an even workout on your whole body. He challenges us to work our hardest and it pays off!! The workouts he gives us aren’t repetitive and we look forward to working out with him every week. I am so happy with where he has taken my strength and body to, and we will continue working out with him for as long as we can. Outside the gym he communicates well
