SO good!! Food was fresh and service fantastic. My husband or two rolls, a super tuna roll and deep fried spicy tuna. Both were great. I got a salmon skin cut roll on soy paper and it was perfect. We also ordered three of the Tuna Sushi and the pieces were thick and cold. Salad and miso were also excellent. We will definitely be back!!

I don't know what they do, but the chicken here is always soooo tender and juicy. It almost just melts in your mouth. This is one of my go to lunches. I've tried sushi on other trips and have been pleased as well. Will post pictures next time. Clean restaurant area. Kind helpful staff. Can watch your sushi rolls being prepared in real time which is fun.

Wonderful and friendly staff. They brought Miso soup and edamame to greet us while we ordered drinks. I had Gyoza and a shrimp tempura sushi roll. Really good! My husband had a bento box with chicken, and he said it was wonderful.
I'm really sorry I forgot to take pictures, because the presentation was beautiful.
Very clean and they follow Covid protocol.

Very friendly wait staff and high quality sushi. I absolutely love the wide variety of sushi that they offer. They have a very detailed menu so that those who are new to sushi understand what they are ordering. They always offer a cup of miso soup while you are waiting for your meal. The sushi is always fresh and beautifully placed with wasabi and ginger on the side for flavor. If you want the full experience I would highly recommend ordering the chefs choice. It's a surprise variety. These pictures were also taken after I had traded my friend two of our sushi pieces so it doesnt look as pretty

Low grade ingredients make for low grade sushi.
This place used to be better, but the rolls shrunk and the crab mix ( not meat) in rolls is boarder line disgusting.. the tempura was greasy and even the tea tasted watered down .. the only part of meal that was good was the salmon but that was not enough to carry the rest of roll.. with a wide array of sushi houses in Olympia, this is skip ..

Love it how the Sushi Chefs greet you upon entering - makes me smile every time! Everything I have had here has been yummy. Service is always quick. The surroundings aren't fancy but the food is always good.
I'm a sushi and bento girl ... BF is teriyaki & tempura guy - both of us are always satisfied at Koibito! We always leave stuffed and always leave happy.
4 star unless / until they redo the bathroom to be a little nicer, then they get the 5

Enjoyable Asian restaurant I found while crossing thru Olympia. Quaint little joint offering up sushi & Japanese food. Menu was excellent with plenty food choices to enjoy. The sushi selection was plentiful and had many options for rolls. I ordered a Tempura shrimp roll with salmon row outside and nice sized tempura prawn stuffed inside. Also ordered chicken teriyaki which came with rice and salad. I was surprised by large quantity of chicken served, so much I didn't finish. My meal could have feed two people so make sure your hungry.
