Ate here last night 1/2/22 for a friends birthday. There was a hair in our appetizer, they comped our appetizer, the waitress was really nice so we didn’t make a big deal. Got our food and continued celebrating our friend. Well last night after dinner, I kept feeling super hot and nauseous. Went home to rest and woke up in the middle of the night drenched in sweat and sick to my stomach. Text my friends to let them know how I was feeling and they were experiencing the same exact symptoms. We shared a couple appetizer. I called this morning to talk to the manager around 11:30am to let them know

Had a pretty unfortunate experience here tonight. The focaccia was stale *and* soggy with balsamic, and the pumpkin ravioli was overcooked and lacked umami. The service is fine. To the restaurant’s credit, the polenta in gorgonzola sauce is great. We were very excited to try this restaurant but won’t be returning. The quality is just subpar compared to the prices.

Had my husband’s 40th birthday dinner in the back room at Mercato! They did an amazing job for our group of 25. Wonderful buffet of appetizers, tasty beverages and excellent dinners! The manager Travis was very accommodating-allowed me to bring in our own dessert, made us a custom menu, and was very easy to work with. Our server Kamoryn was AWESOME! Highly recommend for any private gathering!

They now have a Brunch Menu! Today I came in for Brunch with a few friends and we tried the gambit of their new offerings. The donuts were insanely good. Served with a caramel sauce.
The Shakshuka was Italian style and absolutely delicious. The omelets were light and fluffy. They also now have mimosas!

Two of stopped in for breakfast on a Saturday morning. Had not been her for breakfast in a while so, something different. We had omelettes and potatoes with some toast. Well, the food was good but OMG the garlic. I was raised Italian and this was totally out of control. Chunks of fresh garlic on the potatoes and inside the omelette. I came for morning breakfast, not the 2 a.m. stop all vampires breakfast. I could eat the potatoes and it was all sitting in garlic olive oil so, anything it touched was over the top. I recommended to the server that they at least warn people that it is heavy garlic

We are never disappointed! Great pasta and pizza, and if there’s room for a little extra, their appetizers and desserts are just as tasty! Decent wine selection and cocktails are delightful. We miss their brunch, because that was also a fantastic selection! In the meantime, we will enjoy their flavorful lunch and dinner. Great service and both indoor and outdoor seating when weather permits.

I've been a few times and every time the service is outstanding and the food is delicious. Went recently for a birthday dinner and our server was so polite and friendly, both she and the hostess made us feel right at home. The kitchen staff offered wonderful recommendations on desert as well! If you're looking for a upscale, comfortable Italian experience, I highly recommend Mercato Ristorante!

I'll start by saying the service was great. Benjamin was a nice server and kept tabs on us. The drinks were okay, nothing special but tasty. The antipaste was good. My wife and I got two entrees, salmon and steak. Both didn't have any salt on them. The mashed potato and roasted potatoes - missing salt. They were both bland and terrible. I didn't bring it up to the server but I really regret wasting $24 plus tax and tip on each of these entrees.
I started out rating this a 3-star because of the waitor (bringing up the stars) but after getting multiple steaks and salmon entrees recently

I worked for Adam at Mercato for 8 years starting in 04. I will always remember my time there as it was always a fun place to work as well as a great experience. I'd do it again if the opportunity came to. From daily specials to the seasonal menu to wine makers dinners. We always made everything fresh and at the highest quality. Food was always great! I miss you Adam!!

Absolutely delicious dinner at Mercato! Service was a little slow tonight but they were super busy with graduation and senior prom. Even with being busy, we were sat pretty quickly. The focaccia bread was free and was absolutely delicious. We also got the eggplant appetizer which tasted like lasagna! For dinner we had the steak dinner, chicken dinner and penne. According to the waitress the chicken dinner was newer to the menu and was similar to a chicken Parmesan. Dinner portions were nice and large. After dinner we had the bread pudding and a chocolate torte. Absolutely amazing! We finished both

One of my favorite restaurants in Olympia! They have a good variety of Italian food, and great appetizers. My favorite appetizer is the charcuterie or antipasto, which is just cured meats and Cheese with some bread and olives. Their prawn and caprese is also delicious. For salads I prefer the pear and Gorgonzola salad, which I find quite unique and have never seen anything quite like it anywhere else. As for their entrees I really like the penne and I usually ask them to add some grilled chicken breast to it. This is a great restaurant for casual dining, for a date, or for a dinner out with family
