Comer Tankersley began business in Hartselle in 1938 when he and his brother-in-law formed a partnership and established a Sinclair station on the corner of South Sparkman and Hickory Streets. After four years in business, Mr. Tankersley sold his interest in the business to enter the army.
Returning home after the war and some time farming in Cullman County, Comer bought the station back from the current owner after hearing that he wanted to sell.Once the lot was upgraded, a new state-of-the-art station was built and opened for business the same day that Highway 31 was opened to the public.

Can't say enough good about the folks at this tire shop! I had a brand new tire leaking air as I was passing near their town and they took me in and $25 later I had a great patch and was on my way. Funny thing was I had my LSU shirt on and they are Bama all the way! We had fun with that, they complemented the Tigers and I said Roll Tide as I left!

I had a 2010 Tahoe LT and needed new tires. So I called, they were super nice and very professional over the phone. I called around and matched their quote with other tire stores and found that they had the best price for a brand new set of cooper tires. I showed up in the morning and it was nothing but smiles, handshakes, and just an all around friendly atmosphere. I watched them put the tires on, and they never missed a beat. They started the lug nuts before tightening them so no threat of cross threading. They even lifted my truck up on the lift and showed me how to change the sway bar links
