Went on a gorgeous Saturday afternoon to relax with a delicious craft cocktail and a spectacular view of Boston. The tables and stools are uncomfortable and anything but relaxing. No specialty cocktails available right now. Only draught beer available was Bud Light. And the view was not of anything awesome. The Sams Octoberfest was cold though so thank goodness for that.

What a joke. Got an $18 salad 2 minutes ago. Brought it to my hotel room and it had 3 and a half ingredients. Chicken, tomatoes and lettuce and 6 pieces of corn. Not even dressing. Go spend your money somewhere else. Seriously. LISTEN TO THE REVIEWS. This city is beautiful. There are MANY other places worth your time.

Stopped by the Roofdeck at the Revere Hotel in Boston yesterday for drinks... we had made a reservation for 3pm and while it was empty the hostess said its typically pretty busy and recommended you make reservations in advance. It was a super hot afternoon and very sunny... while we did get a breeze up there, they didn't have great shaded options. We ordered the mango margaritas which were super yummy and the mango pineapple guacamole which was delicious! Not too long after getting there it started to rain and we were fine staying but the waitress informed us that they were closing and we

Came here with 5 friends. We purchased a cabana for 2 hours through ResortPass. The rooftop was pretty empty and our waitress was pretty attentive until more folks started arriving. We ordered drinks and food. Most were just ok. Nothing to write home about. We ordered a mix of things lobster roll, scallop taco, wings, flatbread and chicken Caesar salad. The macaroni and cheese was not edible so we sent it back. All and all I would return for a quick drink bit not food. Atmosphere was cute..wish the music was a bit better.

Not worth the view!
I tried to order dessert, but they were out of most of their menu. Unfortunately it took the server two trips and two order attempts for me to learn this, so I gave up and settled for a hummus and veggie plate. And boy, did I settle.
The hummus plate had 1 halved carrot, 1 halved celery, a small handful of cherry tomatoes, and about 3 tablespoons of hummus. Everything was under-seasoned minus a drizzle of olive oil. The oil meant I needed a napkin, which was a problem since there was no silverware or napkin at my table and I had to track down the server to request this. Over

Absolutely horrible. We waited over 30 mins for our drinks and 45 total for food. Our guests who sat at another table, never got their food after waiting an hour and half. The drinks were strong but only to compensate for their lack of service.
Even another party who sat beside us, left after noticing our guests leave. Definitely not worth the money.
The view was okay. Envoy is WAY better.

Service almost nonexistent.
As we came in on a Saturday at 945 pm we saw many people deep at the bar on the rooftop.
The Greeter advised us to wait for a waitress. I stayed a half hour and never saw any waitress-- even when walking around to find one.
What a waste of potential revenue! Great view but poorly managed bar. Hope they get better st service.

I will start this review with a general assessment of the venue. The rooftop was recently renovated. There is a $30 cover charge that is not worth the price. C'mon this rooftop lacks the vibe found in Vegas or Miami and I have never paid a cover at those locations.
The servers are very pleasant but lack the fundamental skills in, well...being a server. Too long to greet after being seated, too long to deliver drinks, too disorganized, and they can't be found when you are ready to close out.
Now, let's move on to what led me to write this review. I will start with a quote from

I LOVE THIS PLACE! Not only was the view amazing, but it is an awesome place to get together with a bunch of girls for some drinks and sun. The bartenders/waitresses are extremely attentive, and the food comes out fast. The drinks are awesome, the bartender obviously knew what he was doing and he was a well versed mixologist. He created this AMAZING spicy cocktail that my girlfriends and I loved! We'll definitely be going back next weekend. BEST ROOFTOP BAR EVER!

I absolutely love this place. Everything about it is amazing beginning with the location, incredible views, outstanding service and ending with the amazing craft cocktails that the bar offers.
I suggest the Revere Roofdeck to anyone and everyone who is looking for an great atmosphere to have a wonderful time at. I find myself coming repeatedly coming back here and never being let down.
Whether you are looking for a place to relax or to have fun, the Roofdeck definitely offers it all!

I don't think I've had a worse experience in Boston.
We used a Gilt City coupon for free admission +$50 worth of drinks. We arrived and there was literally not a place to sit or stand, yet they were still letting people in. Oddly, no one was sitting in the cabanas, but they were blocked off despite the obvious overcrowding. Inattentive waitresses didn't seem interested in taking orders, but were oddly attune to shooing people away from the empty cabanas.
Figuring we'd get the most out of the Gilt City experience, we walked through the following series of steps:

Meh...
There are few roof deck bars in Boston. I love the Revere itself, but this bar is not my fave. I guess this might be a good spot to go with just one girlfriend to lay in the sun and have a drink, but if you're a group of 3 or more, definitely pass. The seating is not great for groups, since there are mostly lounge chairs. There are cabanas and couches, but they are frequently reserved for groups/parties.
The staff isn't particularly friendly, and their uniforms are red pants or shorts and bra-tops. The cocktails are pretty good (I looove the Boston Common Cucumba) but they

This is the worst bar/lounge I've visited in the past year. My bartender did not smile or make eye contact, and the other bartender did not know how to make a Hurricane cocktail. When I gave him the recipe, he said they didn't have the necessary ingredients. Servers walked past my table several times without any form of acknowledgement. After waiting about 20 minutes for table service, I ordered my drink at the service bar.Having overheard several customers complain about the quality of the cocktails, I ordered a glass of Sauvignon Blanc,

Pros: Comfortable chairs, okay views of Boston
Cons: Pool was indoor, very cloudy and overly chlorinated. The chairs go fast. I arrived at noon and had to wait for the manager to bring out more. The food was overpriced. A small turkey wrap was $18. It took about 45 minutes to arrive. We had to get up and go to the bar every time we ordered because the waitress was so busy. Then we had to wait 20 minutes to get our drinks. There was no complimentary water. Every waiter/waitress/bartender I asked said I had to pay $5 for water (on top of the $30 I paid to get in). Finally, I saw the manager

If you're looking for the worst bartenders in the world, no actual outdoor pool, and a pretty terrible view for a downtown rooftop, then this is the place for you! $47 for 4 mojitos and a 45min wait just to close a tab... This place really does have it all! Will never return and will strongly advise against anyone spending money here.

Great spot and welcome addition to summer! Beautiful bartenders and servers, comfy couches, classy jello shots and of course a giant monkey. Drinks are a bit sweet but who doesn't love a hurricane on a hot day. They also have cucumber water out which is a nice touch and the scene isnt too pretentious. Always a good looking crowd and great music.
