There are certainly some obvious pros to the Lenox. For starters the location is great. Right by Copley Square, close to Newbury St and lots of shops and great places to eat. However, the real reason to stay here is the outstanding service, clean, charming rooms and excellent food. From the moment you arrive the staff are warm and welcoming. I worked in the room for a full day and it was extremely spacious and functional. Wifi was more than sufficient to stream video meetings. Room service was fast and excellent. I checked out after a 2 day work trip feeling relaxed and very happy. That is when

Dear Lenox: You are doing everything right. From the warmth of your staff to the comfort of your hotel rooms. I stayed with you last week for a spa day next door and a night alone and my stay was everything I needed. After a crazy couple years of tense headlines, tenser people and new demands, it is an absolute blessing to be able to retreat to a place with people who know how to express kindness and make strangers feel less distanced. Thank you so much and please keep doing exactly what you're doing.

Excellent!! My husband and I stayed for a staycation and had so much fun. The hotel was super accommodating and we had room service three times. We loved having the suite with the fireplace. They had hot cocoa set up for us with amazing treats. Would highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a clean, romantic and cozy stay. The staff was great and we will be coming back again for sure!

Very clean, very friendly and classy place to stay in Boston, the staff is very welcoming, you feel like home away from home, the rooms were clean and updated, the lobby was very cozy and the food was just great, we normally never eat at the hotel restaurants, but I wanted to try after reading all the reviews, and the food was just great!! I will be staying here whenever I am in Boston!! Thanks

The Lenox Hotel has excellent service from the second your Uber/Taxi pulls up. They'll open doors, carry anything for you and you'll always be greeted and welcomed by multiple employees. Stayed here 2 years ago, had such a great experience we came back this holiday season and it was still great and still under the same management. I will be back for a third time thats for sure. Overall great location, warm/cozy feeling place with some rooms actually have fireplaces that can be lit by employees only. They'll bring you more wood on request. Nothing like it. Great establishment.

This review is specifically for events like a holiday party or rehearsal dinner.
Stay away! Before I explain the lack of service, execution and professionalism that was shown for our rehearsal dinner, let me tell you I have never been compelled to write a single negative review on anything in my life. But given how bad of an experience this was, I want to warn any future couples before making a decision to host their event here.
To begin, I went back and forth with Taylor via email for over 3 months planning this event. I very thoroughly went through all details and questions with her. After

Where do I begin with how wonderful our stay was here? The staff is too notch. I have never felt so at home and welcomed by any hotel the way we did here. They attention to detail is stunning all the way down to having Christmas music playing in our room when we arrived. I wish there was a Lenox hotel everywhere we travel. Thank you to the whole staff each and everyone!

My wife and I live in Boston and selected the Lenox Hotel for our wedding venue. Not only is the hotel incredible on it’s own with great restaurants, an awesome cocktail bar, and the most accommodating staff, but the wedding team and venue is top notch. Alison was a pleasure to work with and made the process so easy for us. Our guests LOVED the hotel and had a great time thanks to Alison and the rest of the Lenox team.

Having stayed at a couple other hotels in Boston, I give Lenox a 5-star.
The exterior is as inviting as the interior. The lobby is warm, classy, and beautiful.
The room and bathroom are clean. It's large enough for three adults.
The Lenox is one block away from Newbury street, which is a popular shopping, dining, and entertainment district. It has many upscale shops like Lululemon, Allbirds, Patagonia, etc...
World-class service from doormen to front desk.
There is no need to look for a better hotel in Boston. This hotel is the best.

If you’re looking to treat yourself to a nice hotel room this is it! This historic hotel has luxury and modern class. We really enjoyed the bar downstairs. The rooms were very clean and the bed was amazing! The bathrooms are a little small but that’s expected in a historic hotel. Our experience was wonderful and the staff was very helpful especially the concierge‘s desk. I highly recommend staying the night!

First off the Lenox makes me hate this city. If I could give a negative star I would. The staff is incredibly rude and disrespectful. My friends and I were loving life and listening to music, and received one noise warning. Upon that, the security guard proceeded to charge into our room. There were women changing. Luckily we were able to have privacy. Ultimately, without a heads up, we were forced to leave the hotel. It was 3 in the morning. Very upsetting, service sucks...privacy invaded, rude remarks by staff and cranky residents. Never EVER going back.

This hotel was a wonderful place to stay in Boston. The usual feedback for location and walkability are certainly appropriate but beyond that, I truly felt like all of the hotel personnel were focused on customer service. From the gentleman out front to the woman checking us in, every person addressed us with a smile. The in-room chocolates, water and awesome lobby coffee remind me of going to hotels with my parents when I was younger. All in all, this hotel has a great focus on providing excellent hospitality that made the trip enjoyable. I would 150% stay here again!

I went here for my 24th birthday using the Staycation package and it was great value for money! Free chocolate and parking was a good bonus and the late checkout was definitely appreciated. I let the hotel know it was my birthday ahead of time and there was a nice little birthday cake treat in the room that made me feel special. I would also like to personally shout out Alison and Dave from the front desk who wrote me a very kind handwritten birthday note and gave me extra chocolate. Had a great time, would recommend!

The Lenox is our go-to hotel when we spend a night together in the city. Romantic, personal, and my favorite quintessentially Boston hotel - including widows that open.
This past week reinforced that ten-fold and demonstrates why I always stay at The Lenox. I had a medical emergency that resulted in emergency surgery. (Everything is fine and MGH was wonderful) The Lenox helped my husband switch rooms (I was sick the morning we were checking out), coordinated the ambulance with professionalism the entire time, and then helped with the charge for the extra night and 1/2 room fee for the additional

We were happily surprised at how close the hotel is located to everything we wanted to see in Boston. Once we parked our car with the valet, we walked everywhere. The check in process was a breeze and everyone greeted us with a smile and a good mood. Our room exceeded our expectations and even included a wood burning fireplace! The beds and linens were exceptionally comfortable and I appreciated that there was zero scent of laundry detergent or fabric softener. The bathroom was spacious and we both loved the water temp and pressure of the shower. Plus, best of all, we hardly heard a single noise

The people who work at The Lenox are absolutely fantastic!!! From the minute you drive up to the door, your Lenox experience will exceed your expectations - the venue space, people, food, people/Alison, hotel rooms, people...I'm sure you get it.
We hosted my daughter and son-in-law's micro-wedding there this weekend; And it was magical. I can't thank everyone at The Lenox enough. And hope others will consider hosting a special function at the Lenox.

It is good to see that hotels like the Lenox Hotel still has the old school way of greeting guests and providing the little things that make a big difference. Thank you Steve and Chris and the rest of the staff. My room was clean (except for an empty water bottle stuck behind the fridge, but no big deal), and I was checked in and out very quickly. The restaurants are great and the original fireplace in the lobby is really nice. I will be back.

We stayed here for my birthday weekend, so we splurged a bit. I was expecting The Lenox Hotel to be as prestigious as it is marketed to be; unfortunately, it was the opposite. The only thing it has going for it is the old time aesthetic.
The beds are rocks. My back hurt the whole weekend. I ended up being allergic to the amenities; THEY HAD NO ALTERNATIVE (except for the body wash). My face broke out into hives and there was nothing they could do as far as amenity replacement; they also didn't offer a hypoallergenic room in case I was allergic to something else in the room. The app they have

Review was a little overdue, we visited in summer.
Amazing boutique hotel in a great location. Close to amtrak, nice restaurants in the neighborhood, and close to Cambridge.
Check-in was great and easy. The staff was super-friendly. They went out of their way to make us comfortable. Concierge service was helpful! Good size rooms and a beautiful lobby with a couple of restaurants in the building.
Overall we had a great experience and highly recommend!

Checked into the Lenox Hotel when we arrived in Boston. We walked up to the front counter and spoke with Jenna.
Jenna was super helpful and professional. I don't know how she pulled it off but she was able to upgrade us to a bigger room with a much better view of the city.
We made it up to our room and sure enough, the view of the city was amazing!! Jenna definitely hooked us up! The room was big, comfortable, and cozy.
The bathroom wasn't very good but the water pressure from the shower head was amazing (that's usually a problem with my showers at hotels for us).

Our favorite hotel in Boston! The Lenox is beautiful and conveniently located, steps away from many great Restaurants on Boylston St. The valet sometimes takes forever, despite following their instructions to text message when you need your car.
City Bar is convenient for cocktails (which are tasty and strong) and City Table is fine for brunch.
The penthouse suite is amazing and a must splurge!

Top notch staff including the doorman, valet, bellman, security, housekeeping, restaurant and front desk. This hotel does a great job providing service that hotels should provide.
For a high end hotel, lots of nice extras like complimentary water in room, complimentary hot choco in the evenings, cookies at front desk and coffee service. Keep doing this Lenox! Don't let accountants tell you to stop with the extras. Business travelers like me love this.
Room was large and comfortable. Even had a real fireplace. I think that may be a service they provide.
