In the time that Carmen has been the contact person for my townhome development I have been extremely pleased with her services. She has responded to all phone calls and emails very promptly, often/usually within the same day. She considers thoughts, emails, requests very thoughtfully and respectfully. I would give 10 stars if I could! Thank you Carmen and Westport Properties!

I don't know who the people work with from Westport Properties to deserve 5 star reviews, but they have consistently been garbage in my building. Unbelievably non-responsive. There have been thefts by other residents in a secure building and they have done nothing. They don't adjust the timers for public areas, so you have no light in stairwells after daylight saving. To call Jenna a property manager is a complete joke. Absolutely unprofessional, unresponsive and maybe complicit in criminal activity since she is unwilling to even notify the board of criminal activities by others in a secure building

Worst company ever. Unprofessional, unethical. Conflict of interest comes to play when they bid on jobs for properties they manage. Watch them like a hawk if you hire them because they will send a maintenance man to "walk the building" 2 hours every week and he does nothing but visit...his idea of fixing things is "I can caulk that". Bandaids are his answer to everything. We fired them years ago and are still finding damages he did with his hammer, which he used to adjust things rather than fix them properly.

We are ending our first year with Westport Properties. It's refreshing to work with a great management company. Carmen S. is an awesome manager and has a great compliment of very knowledgeable, resourceful and responsive team members working together for the good of our community. The up-to-date online computer system makes correspondence easy and allows for timely notifications and easy communication. They are a one-stop-shop in property management.

I would very strongly urge anyone considering this management company to look at alternative options. They do not know the meaning of "preventative maintenance" and will let things reach the point of failure before bringing in a qualified individual to do repair or replacement. They went behind the backs of our HOA board and got our President to sign a very high dollar contract (six figures) without a vote of the board ... then subcontracted the work out to a company that flooded our building and damaged ten of our condo units

I've been in the Property Management business for over 30 year and have used a few different management companies for my property. I can tell you they are by far the best I've ever dealt with. They make you feel like you are their only property, taking care of your needs in a very timely manner. They are also very knowledgeable; always the place I go to for answers. If you are looking for a management company, Westport is where you need to look.

Our condo association has been using Westport as our property management company for 5 years. We evaluated three other companies at the time we selected Westport, and Westport's management fees were very competitive.
We have consistently had excellent service and support from their management, staff, and vendors. They have all been professional, personable, and very easy to work with.
Finally, Westport's access to real estate attorneys was invaluable to us in getting our ancient condominium documents revised and updated.
I would definitely recommend them!

I've rented from Westport Properties a few times and each time, I've never been disappointed. Their staff, including office and maintenance have always been timely in response, if needed. Management has been friendly, positive, reliable and responsive. I've had an emergent situation regarding a maintenance issue, and it was taken care of extremely quickly.
Each time I've moved into one of their properties, the housing has been immaculate and went smoothly. I can't say that for my past experiences elsewhere. Westport was very accommodating to my move in date, which helped ease any worry. I highly

Westport Properties is possibly the worst management company in the Twin Cities. We hired them 2.5 years ago - they interviewed well and we were swayed by their "female leadership" emphasis. 6 managers later (first one, very new - came in spike heels to a maintenance walkabout on our property & left in tears as her heels planted into the earth; next one was very good - after 3 mos, he left the business; next manager wrote a legal opinion for our association without consulting an atty after assuring us she had done so (naturally, it was later found to be not accurate & caused significant

You would be better of self managing and knowing nothing than hiring this unethical company. They are lazy and unprofessional. They don't want to do any work. They cost our BOD reputation because they did not follow through on their responsibilities. They don't even know how to interpret bylaws and we've had attorney expenses fixing their mistakes since we parted ways. They can't keep staff (managers) and don't seem to have criteria for new ones--4 managers in less than 3 years and they were all terrible including the owner. Steer clear!

So glad we do not have to deal with this company any longer. One of the downfalls of living within a communal group. This company was chosen to manage our association when our board voted to go with an outside group. Westport was the chosen company. This was the beginning of the end for us and we knew we wanted to move.
Our contact person runs hot and cold, mostly cold. Rude, curt and unprofessional. I believe this attitude is unwarranted and unnecessary when dealing with people. I know our complaint is not the only one. There are several on the web and within the community. It's just unfortunate
