The wellness exam is the cornerstone of maintaining your pet's health. With regular exams we can make sure your pets are in optimal health and we are able to find problems earlier, when they are easier to address. Wellness exams can be broken into 3 general categories.
Puppy and kitten exams- to make sure your puppies and kittens are getting off to the best start they can, we recommend regular exams and vaccinations as well as parasite testing starting at 6-8 weeks of age.At these exams we can provide advice on training (including house training), nutrition and feeding, we can provide vaccine and deworming as well as plan for a spay or neuter procedure.

I took my service dog Jacques in to have two growths removed that were the size of a golf ball and they made 9 inch incisions to get them out. To add insult to injury they sewed him up in the most horrible fashion I have ever seen. I added the pictures so you don’t have to believe me you can see it first hand. The doctor I suspect felt like she was too busy or too good to come out and discuss the surgery with me so she sends a tech out instead. I am very irate about this this is my precious dog and they botched him all up. If this is an example of her skills as a doctor I think she should find

We have a challenging American Bulldog mix - he has anxiety and he’s not the easiest patient, I’m sure, but Dr. Sherer and the amazing staff welcomed him with open arms and are truly taking their time to make the vet’s office a positive experience for our sweet boy. I’m so happy we found them! Would recommend to anyone!

Dr Sherer is fantastic. He is the most compassionate and knowledgeable veterinarian I've been to in my many years of pet ownership. Dr Sherer is able to relax your pet and give them a complete examination to determine any issues there may be. I would recommend him to any pet owner without hesitation.

Werntz Animal hospital was such a blessing in my time of need! I was in a desperate situation to get my 17 year old Beagle, Charlie seen asap do to health difficulties. I checked all around town at the bigger vet hospitals and was told my pet couldn't be seen . Well, I called Werntz Animal hospital, explained my situation and was given an appointment right away. The staff and Dr. Sherer were kind, considerate and thoughtful. I have found a new pet hospital. They are awesome!!!!!

At first I was not crazy about not being able to see how the doctor interacted with my to Pups. But shortly thereafter my boys got into some poisonous chemicals. My husband rushed them down to their office and three girls immediately ran out snatched them up and begin treatment. They literally saved their lives and I couldn't be more grateful. At that point I realized they are very compassionate and very caring. So I now have a new veterinary office. I couldn't be more grateful to these folks. They were just wonderful

Dr. Sheree spent a lot of time with me discussing my pet's health. I was particularly impressed that he noticed my dog's other health issues, and not just the issue with what brought her to the office. He was… thorough, kind to both my dog and me, and he spent enough time with us to make certain we understood how to care for her wound and the medicines.
