Services
We recommend every pet gets an annual wellness exam. Wellness exams give us the opportunity to evaluate your pet's overall health and detect a problem before it turns into a serious illness! Depending your pet's age and condition this may include bloodwork, a urinalysis, and radiographs. Our doctors will ask you a variety of questions during the exam, but make sure you mention if you've seen any unusual behavior from your pet recently.
Many serious pet diseases can be prevented by vaccinations. Whether your cat is kept indoors or your dog never leaves your yard, your pet can be exposed to viruses carried in the air, dust, grass, or on clothing. Vaccinations provide inexpensive protection against costly treatment or premature death of your pet.
At Canyon View Animal Hospital, we offer a wide variety of surgical procedures. We utilize the safest available anesthetics to provide an extra margin of safety, especially for our older or high-risk patients. We use the most modern equipment including ECG, pulse oximetry and blood pressure. We monitor animals' vital signs during all anesthetic procedures.
Our dental services include ultrasonic teeth cleaning and high speed polishing, root planing, surgical tooth extractions, and oral surgery. Any dental procedure, even simple cleaning, must be performed under general anesthesia. This way we can safely and properly scale under the gum line and polish the teeth.

Thank you so much for making my new puppy's first vet visit such a positive experience! Thank you for answering all my questions and explaining things in detail and for being so gentle and sweet with my girl! I would feel great about recommending your clinic to anybody. And excellent prices!!! I look forward to our next visit!

Positive: Professionalism, Responsiveness
I recently had to have my little 14 year old Minpin euthanized quite suddenly and the staff at Canyonview were so kind, caring, compassionate and professional. I get all my care there but they truly were exceptional with this process. Thank you to all of you for taking care of my Abby.

Just an update, 4 years later and still loving Canyon View Animal Hospital. Dr Russell is wonderful.
Everyone at Canyon View is amazing. All such friendly, helpful and compassionate people and incredibly professional. Never any hidden extras and always up front about costs of treatment. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend Canyon View to anyone.

I cannot say enough about Dr. Ennis and the team at Canyon View. We moved from Florida where our vet was part of the family so finding another vet that felt like they cared to that level felt impossible. Turns out she exists and is simply the best! The yearly exams are so thorough and kind to our two dogs. Our pit had 2 tumors and they did an incredible job taking them out. On top of that, although it was an unexpected expense (as is all medical things) it was more reasonable than I thought it was going to be, I never felt like they were throwing extra things on the bill. For as long as we have

They have a fabulous staff and Dr. Ennis is so caring. I was nervous about finding a new vet, but the second she walked in I knew my fur babies were in the best of hands. She took her time and thoroughly checked my pup who wasn't feeling well. We went over options and she explained everything really well. They have called to follow up when they said they would. And I feel completely comfortable knowing I can call anytime with questions. Thank you guys for being so amazing.

My husband first took our lab to them when she was just a little puppy. They took care of her over 12 years through eating rocks, infected toes, arthritis, tearing a muscle during her old age (and recommending a brace instead of surgery which worked amazing), and behavior problems in her old age. They were most amazing this last year of her life. Our amazing family dog had become aggressive and helped us find every option to try to help her. She once was a friend to all, but probably had a stroke or other brain issue. In the end when she couldn't walk much anymore, and all other options were exhausted

I have had great experiences at Canyon View and have no doubt that will continue. The vet techs are friendly and understanding, and Dr. Bumpers is so personable, kind, and incredibly knowledgeable. It’s important to trust your vet, especially knowing your pet cannot tell you what’s wrong, and I trust her wholeheartedly. They answered tons of calls and questions from me when my pup needed surgery, and their genuine concern for her health brought me such calm during that unexpected, stressful time. I would recommend to anyone looking for vet care for their pet- especially Dr. Bumpers!

Like you, I read reviews looking for peoples' experiences because our pets are our family. Our senior cat was very sick and there were no last minute appointments available, but they recommended I drop off our sweet kitty for tests and a diagnosis anyway. Unfortunately, the diagnosis wasn't good - but I knew that was going to be the case anyway. Sadly, we had to have our 14 year old cat euthanized. It was an emotional evening. I've been to many vets throughout my years but I truly can say this establishment is a step above the others. Recently, we received in the mail a sweet memory of our beloved
