Beware! Smoke in mirrors Master Stylist blowhard gave me a terrible cut that took months to grow out. I generally give good reviews but not this time!

I have struggled with my hair all of my life, going from one hair dresser to the next, wanting so dearly to find one who I could rely on to give me a good cut. After 40 years of experiences ranging from horrendous to average, I finally found Richard and The Parlor. Richard is the absolute best. He is so talented and knows intuitively what works and what doesn't. You will not be disappointed. Plus, the salon is nestled in the Tannery with beautiful natural sunlight pouring in its second floor windows. A master of his craft and a true artist, Richard is the way to go!

Very lovely place. Richard and Sarah are very skilled. I've gotten my hair dyed and cut here and I always leave happy with the end result. Very friendly atmosphere and good playlist of songs to listen to while you wait.

There is a reason The Parlor has been rated the number salon so many times! It seems that anymore everyone calls themselves a master stylist, but in my experience more times than not their master skill level is not reflected in my haircut. This is however, not the case at The Parlor. As a man with long hair, even at the best salons I end up with one of two types of cuts a. A women's haircut or b. Just the ends trimmed, but it's never what I asked for or envision in my head. Richard said he would assess my hair and gave me the cut that would bring the most to my hair, with my preferences

I've been coming here for a year and have had my hair cut by Richard, Natarsha and Trina and have loved it every time! Everybody is very friendly and it has a pleasant atmosphere.
