Edit: posted some pics and also this is 100% the beautique salon in Newburyport and the stylist was Shailyn. I had long beautiful hair when I went in and came out with my hair chopped on one side and semi normal looking on the other. I wanted to cry in the chair. It was as if she had never seen thick hair before and grabbed all the hair I put in the front and chopped it to my shoulder. I cannot believe what I had done to my hair. I know I cannot be the only person who’s had this happen. Never again. Seriously cannot trust online reviews for any hairdresser. Always look for pics of the hairdressers

This was my first time at Beautique and I can honestly say the space is gorgeous. It's huge and a one-stop shop for all things beauty such as hair, makeup, microblading, med spa etc. I received a spray tan from Casey and she did an amazing job! I have fair Irish skin so I was worried how it would look on me, but within a few hours it developed into a beautiful olive bronze! Not orangey at all and even coverage. I highly recommend checking this place out! You won't regret it!

I had a massage today in the new healing room at beautique! Ahhhhhh. Elise was very attentive, checked in with pressure, I think I fell asleep for the last 20 minutes I was SO relaxed. The staff has made a great effort to ensure cleanliness and to keep a positive attitude in a tough time. Beautique has done it again! From waxing to massage, this place is the best on the northshore.

There is no other salon in the area that does lashes like Beautique--none and I have tried a number of other places. The lashes look so incredible and last so much longer than lashes I've had done at other places. I am complimented on my lashes all of the time!

How have I not left a review yet??!!? I've been seeing Leah Lynch (the owner) since maybe 2009 which is a crazy long time! In that time, she's moved to her own location, first in downtown NBPT and now to the beautiful Beautique location on Parker St. I've moved to Boston but I make the 2 hour round trip every 3 weeks because Leah and her team are the only people I trust with my eyelashes.

There is ample free parking (or a 2 min walk from the commuter rail station) and the space is beautiful and welcoming. Leah has taught lash extension technique (with a focus on safety/cleanliness

Got there my hair, lashes and massage! Everything was great. I lived in Boston and was very surprised to see really good quality service 1 hour away from Boston. Well deserved 5 starts!

I couldn't be happier with the services I have received at Beautique! I started off by getting my hair cut and styled by Lindsey who did a fabulous job! She listened to my worries about my hair and made recommendations on how to cut and style, she was very knowledgeable.
Everyone was so friendly, warm and inviting that and I wanted to try more services. I moved onto facials with Hanh, which are simply amazing and then I splurged onto lash extensions. My face is so much brighter and happier looking with my lash extensions, NO MAKE-UP NEEDED, I don't think I'll ever be able to

Tammy is amazing. She always remembers how I like my hair done and does a great job. I have friends and coworkers who go to some of the other stylists and they all have good things to say as well. Brows are good too. Can't speak to their other services.

Customer service is terrible. There are so many fantastic small business salons in Newburyport, this is not one of them. When you receive an unsatisfactory service in today's competitive market you expect some kind of compensation not just an I'm sorry you feel that way. Go elsewhere.

Yesterday I went for my first appointment at Beautique in Newburyport. The salon is beautiful and so relaxing. Alyssa gave me a brow tint and lash lift and tint. She was wonderfully kind, very professional and I couldn't have been happier with the results. I then went downstairs for a cut and highlight with Caitlin. I was going for a drastic change which was a bit nerve wracking because I was choosing a whole new look just 2 days before my daughters wedding. I brought a few photos of what I was looking for and Caitlin made it happen. She really took the time to listen to me and is an incredible

I haven't even been to the salon yet and I am already impressed. Kim was an angel and spent 25 minutes on the phone with me discussing various options for me and my mother for my upcoming wedding. She was so sweet and patient and personable! I can't wait to come in for my appt!

From Tammy for hair to Leah for eyebrows, I cannot rave enough about the salon and it's talented staff. When was the last time someone complemented your eyebrows!

Scheduling hair and makeup for eight bridesmaids, a mother-of-the-bride and one bride-to-be is no easy task, but Jordan did it with ease. She helped me sort out every little detail before my wedding day so all I had to do on the day of was enjoy myself. And that I did! Beautique was kind enough to provide mimosas for us, and we had the best time listening to music, hanging out and getting all glammed up! Everyone left the salon feeling their absolute best.

Tammy, Sarah and Lindsay at Beautique are absolute artists! They did the hair and makeup for my wedding last weekend and we could not have asked for anything better. Sarah, the makeup artist, listened to each of us regarding what we were looking for and made it happen! And as someone who does not wear a lot of makeup often, I was beyond happy with the results. Tammy and Lindsay did the hairstyles for myself and my bridesmaids and gave each of us a unique but beautiful style.
