All of the stylists at Brushed Hair Salon strive to create a healthy salon environment, where everyone feels safe, respected and heard. Our color consultations are thorough and use color analysis to determine tones that will compliment YOUR skin and eyes for the most natural, youthful look. Kerri, owner of Brushed, is excited to share her passion and knowledge of hair and hair products.
Seeing the impact a good haircut can have is so rewarding. Whether you are in need of a trim, a new look or something in between, we have you covered. Our stylists use different methods to help you reach your goals, including precision cutting, dry cutting, razor cutting, curly cutting techniques and more.
Brushed Hair Salon is located at 340 High Street, Newburyport, MA. Parking is available on street as well as behind our building, follow driveway between the salon and gas station to access. We do accept all major credit cards & cash is always acceptable. Please note, our gratuity policy is we do not allow tips to be added to a credit or debit card transaction.

I HIGHLY recommend Brushed Salon. The minute you walk into the bright, clean and modern salon you feel relaxed and at home. Stylist, STEPHANIE ERWIN is a master at color, cut and blow out. I always leave my appointment feeling beautiful. Stephanie is confident in her work, talks to you about every detail, is super friendly and engaging. The location is convenient and easy to get to. There is a large parking lot in back and also street parking out front.

5 stars is not enough. Brushed Salon is such an amazing place - the stylists are SO knowledgeable about hair, color, styling. I have been with Kerri for more years than I can count - and I till learn something about hair health each time I have an appointment. All of the stylists are amazing. The environment is relaxing, safe and beautiful.

I don’t even know where to begin with Kerri and her team. I started seeing Cortney first at another salon. Besides the fact she was friendly and professional and I instantly adored her (and still do) , I was immediately impressed with her knowledge of health of hair and color. During her maternity leave I started seeing Kerri. She had the same philosophy focusing on the health of my hair and what was right for me. Even after several years Kerri always continues to apply her ongoing knowledge to every appointment. Kerri runs her salon with so much commitment to the industry, compassion for her

Everyone is great here! Amazing and relaxing space, and great experience overall. Cortney is the best! She is always willing to tackle whatever I am into, and I have been going to her for years! For a guy who has done vibrant color(blue and green!), short hair, disjointed hair, razor cut hair, and undercuts, you name it! Cortney has always made me look and feel great! Im certain every professional here can deliver the same experience! I highly recommend!

I loved my haircut and experience at Brushed! In addition to taking all possible safety precautions and having only me in the salon for the duration of my service, Lauren was so sweet and informative. She explained the science behind hair washing and gave my pointers that have completely changed my hair care routine for the better! I will definitely return for my next cut!

I've been to Brushed Salon three times and each time has been a treat!
Kerri highlighted and cut my hair recently and it looks so natural. Today Lauren cut my hair and it looks and feels great! Brushed is a very warm and welcoming salon. Kerri and Lauren both listened to my input and offered some great suggestions. It is the total package!

I HIGHLY recommend this salon! I saw Lauren, and also met Kerri. Both were lovely, friendly, and made me feel super welcome. The salon is beautiful and impeccably clean. Lauren gave me her undivided attention the entire time I was there- no double-booking! She was so knowledgeable about hair care, and gave me a ton of awesome tips that no hair stylist had ever taught me before! I loved that she took the time to consult with me first to find out what I was looking for, and gave her input about my color season so we could choose the perfect color for me. I left the salon feeling amazing on the outside
