The counselors at the Christian Counseling Connection, Inc., are committed to helping people change in ways that are consistent with the client's spiritual beliefs. Current research has documented the positive effects that spiritual and religious beliefs have on the mental, emotional, and physical health of individuals and families.
We believe that the Bible is the inspired word of God and that Christianity is based on a right relationship with God and others, and that the Holy Spirit empowers the healing process. Services
Christian Counseling Connection, Inc. started out as the brainchild of three counselors from differing disciplines who met monthly for peer supervision and prayer support. Launching the agency in 2001 with a grant from the Bakerville United Methodist Church, two counselors, a director, and an office manager shared three small rooms in the first-floor apartment of a private home.
Kathleen enjoys seeing the changes that come as people seek healing of the emotional heart. She has presented multiple workshops on emotional healing and recovery, boundaries, and combating depression. Cathy loves to walk people through their healing process, listening to their fears and sorrows, helping them reframe past events as opportunities to "grow strong in the broken places."
Let's dispel the myth that everyone who attends therapy is deeply troubled. We all have busy lives and sometimes we need the assistance of a professional to help us through the maze of life. Let's face it - we all could use some extra support to face the trials, triumphs, and transitions of life. You learn problem-solving skills to solve your own problems.

Should you have any additional questions, please contact our office where our staff is waiting and willing to answer them for you or to assist you in setting up your first counseling session.
We recognize the fact that each person, every couple, and all families are different requiring a customized model of counseling. Our counselors come from a wide variety of disciplines. We have professional counselors, marriage and family therapists, clinical social workers and an advanced practice registered nurse on staff.
