Services
Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation, otherwise known as TMS, has been used to study the nerve fibers that carry information about movements from the brain to the spinal cord and on to the muscles since the 1980s. In 2008, TMS became FDA-approved to treat patients suffering from depression who have not experienced relief from prior use of antidepressant medications.
Iolanda Marucci is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founded Tides of Mind Counseling in 2014. Iolanda saw a need to provide quality, client-focused care that was accessible to local communities, and first opened the Waterbury office, quickly followed by offices in Torrington, Thomaston and Middlebury.
The Tides of Mind Counseling offices are situated in convenient locations in Waterbury, CT, Torrington, CT, Middlebury, CT, Thomaston, CT, Canton, CT, Providence, RI, and Southington, CT are close to public transportation and highway access. Our offices are designed to have a "spa-like" feel so that right when you enter the doors you have a very relaxed and inviting experience.

Tides of Mind Counseling is currently seeking Full Time and Part Time employees who are licensed therapists (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, LADC, Licensed Psychologist) to deliver In-Home Therapy Services to the Greater Waterbury Community. Ability to work with children/teens is a must. Billingual candidates encouraged to apply.
