Tokyo Automotive owner Masahiro Masuda and his partner, Akio Tsuchida, immigrated to the U.S. from Japan back in the 1970s, bringing with them their expert automotive technical skills. They opened the first Japanese car specialist shop here in Orange County in 1978. Both Masahiro and Akio have experience directly from training with Toyota in Japan and have learned that professional car care starts with skillful attentiveness and proper knowledge.
In order to increase the life of the engine, it is important to replace the oil regularly in order to avoid overheating. It is also important to perform periodic inspections to check for parts that are out of date, degraded, or cracked. If there are any unusual sounds during an engine start, it is necessary to do an inspection or make adjustments.
Had a front struts replaced on my Toyota Rav4 last week. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent. They even drove me back and delivered the car to my office. Having a reliable and trustworthy auto repair station with a convenient location is priceless. I think I found it. My one stop shop for all of my cars!

Giving it Five Stars!
I came into the shop on 12/9/20 to get my transmission rebuilt. I didn't know anything about this place, I actually went to the wrong location. Anyways Nao the mechanic came out to help me with my transmission. I received a quote from my regular mechanic and he was charging me 2500 for the service. Thank god I found this place, Nao took care of everything. We even became friendly after a 15 minute conversation. He took me back to my house even though it was 20 minutes away. He also tried to help me sell my car because I told him that I was moving in about 2 weeks. The job

These guys are great. Reasonable pricing, solid work.
My mother-in-law was quoted $8k in repairs from the dealership. These guys fixed the problem and charged $1.2k. I've taken all three of my family's cars in for routine maintenance and always been pleasantly surprised by the bill and quality of service. This is definitely our place of choice, now.
