I believe Bona is a fair mechanic. He will give you a reasonable price for any car repairs you need. He is good and honest and will not swindle you for money. He cares for his business and will not ruin his reputation just to make a quick buck. I've seen most of his customers are repeat customers who the same like me trust their cars with.

I came here because I'd had one too many visits to Miller Toyota. I sat in their waiting room and looked at Yelp reviews for mechanics after they handed down yet another expensive repair they wanted to do. They always looked like they were afraid you'd catch them doing something they shouldn't. Gave me the creeps.
Well, Bona's place was pretty close to where I was and had great reviews except for one person who claimed Bona only fixed Toyotas. While I doubt that considering how many reviews mentioned other makes of cars, I was sold because hot dog! I drive a Toyota. Cool.

I love this mom and pop auto shop. It is a family run business and they are honest and fairly priced. When my car broke down they fixed it in two hours and the wife even helped me entertain my 5-year-old and when we left she gave us a bag of fruit from her garden. They are the best and they care about you, not up-charging you for every little thing.

Bona's was recommended by a friend to me after a string of horrible mechanic experiences that left me distrusting and more than a thousand dollars in the hole for repairs I did not need. These guys have cared for my older cars for the last 8 months now and I have been very pleased all-around. They are up-front and honest, offer you options on repair priorities, and are thorough. Bona's is the most reliable, friendly, and fair pricing I've had! I used to come to this shop when I was in college for my car. I recently moved to Huntington and when my check engine light came on, had to go to the closest place. I got a quote and was unsure of the services and decided to drive 25 mins to Bona's. I was greeted and remembered and they took care of me, with far less of a quote at that. This is why I will continue to make the trip to Fullerton (when I can) and use Bona's. Thank you!!! VERY friendly staff, good service, no hidden fees, and all at a reasonable price. They have a seating area where you can see what they are doing with your car. Clear on what you need; they do not play around.

Best shop I've experienced in my time as a car owner. They have consistently lower prices than other shops, always finish when they say they will, and never have I brought my car in and left with a new problem unlike some other places that "fix" of your car. They won't try to upsell you or fix anything that doesnt need fixing. Definitely the most honest and fair shop around the OC area.

According to their Yelp, I'm aware they specialize in Toyotas. But it also states that they can work on any car. I called for an estimate on a fuel pump replacement and the person who answered the phone responded with "sorry but we focus on Toyotas" so I asked you don't do any other cars then? She said no.
Why? Idk. Not rude but also a tad confused. Most mechanics work on any cars if it's not a specific-to-the-maker issue.

My wife and I have been going to Bona for the better part of 4 years. After discovering this gem of a repair shop on Yelp, we decided to give it a shop. We've switched cars in that time, but we have't switched mechanics. Bona does an incredible job taking care of our vehicles, and his wife takes great care of us! They are very accommodating of our busy work schedules, and if you plan in advance, there's no reason they can't make it work for you.

Bona's is a real, trustworthy auto repair shop. I've been to tons of repair shops over the years that say they can get the job done or always try to rip you off so to know that they're true to their word is a huge relief. We all have busy schedules and we can't get around SoCal without a vehicle. If you want real service in a timely manner with affordable prices come to this great family run business!

I've been coming here the last 2 years with my crappy Honda Accord and they are the only honest mechanic shop I've been to. They are professional, do a great job and tell you the things that need to be repaired and when. they don't force you into fixing 10 things and over charge you. Bona is awesome !!! I'll never go to another mechanic ever after finding this place. Despite having to fix things on my car constantly I'm happy that I'm not suffering even more from a corrupt mechanic.
