A dog lover's delight. Having two large dogs, it makes it hard to rent a place that is decent, but the Townes of Herndon in Herndon, VA welcomes your dogs with open paws. The place is clean with a beautiful pool that is never crowded and a nice little gym that is open 24 hours. They also have a dog park! The staff is just delightful, during Covid-19 the staff helped us through difficult times with the highest regard to our safety and needs. I felt compelled to write a nice review after such a positive experience.

The apartments are clean and tastefully done, the grounds are well kept and managed, and everyone is quiet and polite. Most importantly, management is very knowledgeable and professional. Ms. Caroline in the leasing center answered all my questions and referred me to the correct resources when appropriate. I’m only a few months into my lease but I’m certain when it’s up, I’ll renew, I absolutely love it here!

I spent last year living across Herndon in a small 1 bdrm. I was paying a lot more than I wanted to, and decided me and buddy would look for a place together in the Old Town Herndon area. We centered in on The Townes at Herndon Center, due to the quiet location and reasonable rates. Wow, did we make the right decision!

I am a previous tenant of The Townes and I was a resident for 18 months. All of our service requests were resolved in a timely manner and any time I had a question, request, or concern - Pedro, the property manager, was always prompt to respond. We never had any sort of pest issue nor did we have any issues with neighbors or noise.
The townhouse is spacious, with updated finishes providing a very modern and contemporary look.

DO NOT COME HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO BE TREATED LIKE A JOKE. The leasing staff are very unprofessional and disorganized. We emailed back and forth with Pedro about an apartment that we were interested in. He let us know that an apartment was going to be available starting July 31, even though it did not show on their website the apartment being available. He sent us so much information and a video virtual tour of a similar apartment. He told us to come on by during the weekend to take a tour of the similar apartment; that Caroline would be in the office and take us on a tour. We scheduled a 1 PM

Our experience at The Townes has greatly improved from when we first moved onto the property. Marcus, the manager is not only friendly and courteous, he is always ready to listen when you have questions or concerns. The office staff members, including the maintenance crew, are just as kind and helpful. Pay attention to the unit you choose since a few do not have heat on the ground level.Overall however, our three bedroom 2.5 bath townhouse has been comfortable for our needs over the past five years.

This is a Home not an Apartment ! This is a gem, a town-home with more space than an apartment, responsive management and neighbors that make you believe that neighborhoods still exist. Marcus is a credit to making the place run efficiently and Mike is a skilled and personable maintenance technician. As such if you behave like you are the homeowner and treat your place with care and respect you will get it back, renters karma. I can change my own lightbulbs, small things to make the day to day in any residence run smoothly. My unit is on the verge of needing a new a/c unit and I am sure that if

BUYER BEWARE: Take a few minutes to read this review BEFORE YOU SIGN A LEASE with this apartment/ townhome community. This is a lengthy review and one I was hoping I would not have to write. First in fairness the location is great and the community, for the most part, delivers on the surface what you would expect. Then things get weird and honestly… pretty bad. I initially moved into the Townes at Herndon at the end of March 2018 and I have to admit here that things do indeed tend to go on as they start. The townhome we rented at that time was not cleaned and at the time we found a few deceased
