Dr. Moalemi's staff was able to get me in for an x-ray the same day! DR. Steve was able to get me up and functional in several days so I could go on our long planned family vacation. He really saves the day. I'm so grateful to have finally found a caring and professional doctor who was able to effectively address my knee pain. He definitely knows his stuff and makes it easy to ask questions which is so important. Would definitely recommend! 5 stars is not enough for the service and care you'll receive.

Going to Empire Physical has been a great experience. Destiny has been fantastic. Her upbeat energy makes me feel at ease when visiting. She's accommodating and makes it easy to schedule appointments with my hectic schedule. Dr. Moalemi is fantastic and really cares for his patients and the physical therapists are incredible.

The best doctor period! For years, I have increasingly been having back issues that were debilitating - pushing me to see orthopedic surgeons and neuro-orthopedic specialists for MRI's and X-Rays, along with physical therapy and ultimately advised for me to get surgery. A family member advised me before taking the surgical route to see Doctor Moalemi. He took the time to sit down and listen to me. The amazing thing is, he easily advised my back pains were due to my posture at my desk. He instructed me the proper way to be situated while at work, and literally in two days my pain was gone

I started with a different physical therapist. What a difference working with Dr. Moalemi and his wonderful team of physical therapists. Such care and professionalism. There is no comparison.
I was very surprised at the problem I was having getting back to walking up stairs and sitting for any length of time. With the physical therapy I am actually able to walk longer and my legs feel stronger than they did before the accident.
Dr. Moalemi was highly recommended to me and I am glad that I went to him. His whole team is wonderful. Thank you.

Dr. was ok, only saw him for 10-15min so he could write a prescription for diagnostic imaging.
The front desk is friendly. Sadly the office is inneficient at providing services.
After I got my script for radiology I asked the front staff to give me a list of radiology places I could go to, they handed me a packet that when I opened at home did not contain the radiologist info. That's ok we are all human, I should have double checked. Then, I am trying to schedule my appointment for imaging but I was told I could not get the appointment until the office provided them with ICD codes. It&apos

Dr. Moalemi is a caring, attentive & wonderful doctor. I have visited this practice for several years. Every time I have a new breakdown in my body Dr. Moalemi is always available and has helped me every step of the way to find efficient practices, solutions to my back problems and other area of aches/pain. He has truly been a pioneer in helping me feel better.

This doctor refused my medical treatment . Made me wait outside on the street under the rain while he was having a meeting. His receptionist threatened me with building security trying to kick me out because I would not leave the office. This doctor can not keep his appointments , can not see his patients on time. No respect for your time or your injuries. No knowledge of Workers Comp and low back injuries. Can not be trusted or depend on. Very arrogant selfish doctor with his deceptive clean cut look. Watch out for him. Find another doctor and you will safe yourself a time a whole

I have been going to Empire over the last couple of months for my lower back bulging disc. Dr Moalemi is a patient listener and a great doctor, but the best part of the clinic is the therapists. All of them are super nice, friendly, treat you respectfully, and are very helpful. I don't have a basis of comparison for the facilities, but it is more than satisfactory for me - clean, good music, high ceilings, and has all the necessary equipment and enough beds. It is never too crowded so you always have personal attention. All the patients I have met seem very happy with their treatment. The reception

I would like to counter the negative review of Dr. Moalemi.
Actually, he is a very kind and competent doctor. I didn't use him for very long since I started PT, but he was very knowledgeable, spent a good amount of time with me, and was a compassionate man. Good, solid doctor.
I deducted a star because, yes, they do overbook. It's true. The wait was about 30 minutes, if I remember correctly, which these days, isn't that awful. There are plenty of practices which are much more abusive of their patients' time.
And there was nothing shady about this practice in any way

I was recommended to see Dr. Steven Moalemi a few years ago by a co-worker for physical therapy on a hip injury. My previous experience with physical therapy was not good. Rude staff. Doctors rushing. I have never experienced this at Empire. Dr. Moalemi is a caring doctor who takes time with his patients and his PT team is very supportive and knowledgeable regarding patient care. I recovered very well from my injury and have returned to his office when needing treatment after an ankle fracture, and other. My daughter has gone for treatment for carpel tunnel and knee injury. We recommend this practice

I came back to Dr. Moalemi during a recent trip to NY. I was in pain from an old injury that had been aggravated during traveling. He recommended physical Therapy, which I did with Kristian, who had worked on my back years ago. I was treated with care and attention to my case, in their impeccable new facility near 5th Ave. I went as much as I could during my stay and the improvement just after five or six sessions was amazing. My experience here was fantastic.The staff are amazing, kind and courteous. They never miss a beat and keep me smiling as I wait in the waiting area.Alexis and Erica at the front desk make sure my appointments are up to date, and always call to make sure i don't forget. Dr. Moalemi is great at what he does, he is attentive and was spot on with his diagnosis. The PT staff was helpful and patient and i felt so much better after i left.After my 6 weeks of PT I was back to new. I would definitely recommend to anyone who needs physical therapy.
