Louisiana Regional Pho
The Louisiana Regional Physician Hospital Organization is a network of physicians, hospitals, and facilities that provide cost-effective, quality healthcare for employers, insurers and managed care organizations. In accordance with the Joint Commission and the National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCOA), the LRCVO offers a consolidated approach to credentials verification for contracted facilities.

The LRCVO conducts primary source verification of credentials and provides that information to each entity for which the provider has applied. The Louisiana Academy of Family Physicians (LAFP) and the HIT Resource Center have developed a comprehensive toolkit to help guide LAFP members through the process of EHR and achieving Meaningful Use.
Services
Leigh Anne Hunter is the Director of the Louisiana Regional Physician Hospital Organization. Leigh Anne is responsible for strategic direction, managed care contracting, and daily operations of the LRPHO. She holds a degree in English from the University of Arkansas, and is a member of the Louisiana Medical Group Management Association and the Central Louisiana Medical Group Managementt Asssociation.
Physicians, Nurse Practioners and Physicians Assistants wishing to join the LRPHO should call the LRPHO Director, Leigh Anne Hunter, at 318-769-7484. The LRPHO Board of Directors must approve the release of an application for all specialists. All members of the LRPHO must maintain an appropriate, unrestricted current license or certificate to provide health care services in Louisiana and, if applicable, to comply with DEA regulations.

Physician members have the benefit of conveniently gaining knowledge enhancing competency through self-directed learning, while earning AMA PRA Category 1 Credit(s) TM through the use of our website.
The LRPHO offers the following managed care contracting opportunities for its members. This includes delegated credentialing on behalf of these healthplans, therefore members do not have to complete a separate credentialing application. The request must be submitted to the LRPHO, in writing, on the member's office letterhead.
