The mission of Central Louisiana Arts & Healthcare is to provide innovative arts programming in healthcare settings. Thanks to all who donated to support our mission of healing through the arts. In 2019, we received funding and grants from: 100 Women Who Care, Alexandria Business Foundation, The Harvest Fund, Junior League of Alexandria, Central LA Community Foundation, CHRISTUS St. Frances Cabrini Hospital and RoyOMartin.
Your donation will help pay for artists and musicians to share their talents with healthcare workers and patients. Participation in the arts helps reduce stress, pain, anxiety and burn-out. Your support is greatly appreciated.

Services
Central Louisiana Arts & Healthcare, Inc. was begun in 2003 using the Arts Council of Central Louisiana as their fiscal agent. Our first contract was with Rapides Regional Medical Center in the Fall of 2003. Our mission is to provide innovative arts experiences in healthcare settings with the goal of using the arts to promote healing, provide respite for family members and provide stress relief for medical personnel.
We are posting virtual concerts by our Arts & Healthcare musicians and virtual art shows by our Arts & Healthcare visual artists on our Facebook page. We hope especially our healthcare workers will enjoy them. Be sure to visit the CHRISTUS Cabrini Gallery for Reflection and Healing located on the 1st floor of the Outpatient Center across the hall from Radiology.
Many thanks to Huckleberry Brewing Company who hosted a week of events in 2019 to benefit Arts & Healthcare, Inc. From paint parties to a beer pairing dinner to a Chili cook-off and music fest, there was something for everyone. We are so grateful for their support of our programs in the community. This organization meets quarterly and chooses a local non-profit to support at each quarterly meeting.
Judy Ginsburgh is the founder and Executive Director of Central Louisiana Arts & Healthcare. She is the primary administrator for the program. By purchasing items we sell, you help us fulfill our mission of helping people heal through the arts. This book of powerful poetry and art reflects the emotions of those who were affected by the devastating hurricanes that hit the Louisiana coast in the summer of 2005. In the summer of 2005, Arts & Healthcare, Inc. partnered with the local Red Cross and trained over 70 artists to be first responders.
