Meet the veterinarians and supporting staff members that make Companion Animal Hospital a warm, welcoming place for all. Even as a kid, I knew I wanted to work or be around animals as much as I could. As I evolved into more vet care as a veterinary technician, I then realized I wanted to be even more involved with their well-being and health.
We have a lot to offer you and your pet, and that includes our various veterinary services. Preventative medicine including exams, vaccinations, and blood testing is the best way to protect your pet and keep them healthy.

The vet doesn't have to be a stressful place. At Companion Animal Hospital Wicker Park, we have Fear Free Certified Professionals on our staff who are trained to help pets relax and feel safe. We know how easily stress can prevent dogs and cats from getting the treatment they need. Therefore, we take special measures to improve not only their physical health, but their mental health as well.
At Companion Animal Hospital Wicker Park, it's a pleasure to see our patients year after year for their checkup. Pet wellness care includes annual exams, blood and parasite screening, and vaccinations. During your pet's checkup, we can either establish a plan or touch base to discuss their current routine and any concerns you have.

I've been taking my dog here for about a year after moving to the Wicker Park area. It's a 5 minute walk from my apartment which is why I originally chose it but it turned out to be the best vet I've been to in years. The office staff and vet techs are always so great. My dog, Hamburger, can be a bit unpredictable around new people and sometimes doesn't take kindly to strangers but she absolutely loves everyone here and has never had any issues. She warmed up to everyone so quickly! They are always so kind and welcoming to her and it just melts my heart how excited they are to see her every time

As a first time puppy owner, Companion has been an absolute godsend. The whole team is incredibly responsive (even when I suspected my novice questions didn’t warrant urgency) and shower my dog with affection anytime we visit. It is wonderful to have a trusted and professional team who loves your pet as much as you do and I believe we couldn’t have survived the first year without them!

From my very first phone call with Companion Animal Hospital WP I was treated with kindness and respect... and MOST importantly not rushed off the phone (Thanks Logan!). But let's be honest, the real critic is Hugo the cat. Previously, because he'd lose his mind, he would have to be sedated at all his past vet visits. This was our first visit to Companion, I wanted to switch vet clinics in hopes of a better experience and boy did I get one! The fear free model helped Hugo tremendously. My dog Brady is skittish around doctors and as a result simple vaccinations can be complicated, up to requiring anesthesia. Since starting with Companion Wicker Park the doctors and techs have worked to build a relationship with him and ease some of his anxiety. During our most recent vaccine appointment he was in and out in under 10 minutes! I cannot stress enough how much I appreciate everyone working with my guy to make him feel comfortable during his appointments.

My blind cat Nala has kidney issues, and she was very nervous for her vet visit. This was our first time there. Nala is tiny for her age, but very strong, the Vet and staff were very kind, compassionate and gentle with her. They make pets and their owners feel comfortable and safe, they answer all your questions, they are very attentive and knowledgeable. I am very happy with their service; everyone makes you feel like you are family, and they understand how important your pets are to you. I do not live all that close to this Companion location, but it's the only one I'll ever go to.
This is the cleanest, happiest facility I've ever visited, but it's the workers there that make a difference. They are the kindest, most professional bunch of guys and gals I've ever met at a vet. The way they interact with eachother and work in harmony really shows, because my animals dont seem to notice they're at a vet clinic.
Whatever they're doing here in terms of professional training and choosing candidates is surely paying off! Look at all these happy customers ❤️

They were so friendly and took such good care of my little rabbit, Tater. They are very thoughtful towards him and towards me. The nurse even came on her day off to give him a fluid shot. They are blessings and I could not be more thankful that my little man is in their hands.

My pups Potato and Goober had an incredible visit at Companion Animal Hospital. They were even given some very handsome bandanas to rock. Treated with such care, compassion and love — the best vet we’ve gone to BY FAR. We also took our cat Dulce to Companion for palliative care and they helped her cross the rainbow bridge — the most compassionate way I could’ve ever imagined saying goodbye to a beloved family member. I’ll never take my pets anywhere else.

My pup Bunny loves companion and Dr Moser. Always accommodating and upfront and speaks to you in a way that’s both caring and informative! They have been fabulous to the clients I have referred from the daycare… and boarding facility I manage in the neighborhood and for the rescues that have been adopted or being fostered from the rescue I’m on the board of.
