Cactus Home Inspection, LLC is owned and operated by me, Don Kronig. I received my home inspector's training thru the American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) school and received my radon measurement training thru the ASHI sponsored Spruce Environmental course.
I successfully passed both the National Home Inspector Examination (NHIE) and the National Radon Proficiency Program Examination (NRPP), and I am a NRPP Certified Residential Radon Measurement Provider.I am a retiree of the Ford Motor Company, and have extensive experience with home construction, remodeling, and maintenance.

A written report, with photos, will be provided within 24 hours of the completed inspection. The inspection will be based on American Society of Home Inspectors (ASHI) standards. We strongly recommend that you test for radon gas. It is the second leading cause of lung cancer today and if present in high concentrations can usually be mitigated to acceptable levels with the installation of a radon reduction system.

Our fees are based on the size and complexity of your home, and whether you want an optional 48-hour radon test performed. Our fees are competitive but they are not the cheapest. We hired Don to do a home inspection on a potential property we were interested in buying. Don was nothing short of amazing! He let me tag along and learn some tips and tricks on keeping up with and maintaining homes. Additionally, he was really up front about any potentially serious issues that he found and gave his best estimate on how much it would be to fix or replace. Will definitely be looking for Don when my partner and I move forward with any other future homes!

Very through with his inspection. Don is very good at explaining what to look for during his walkthrough after his inspection and his follow up documentation included great pictures and details outlining everything we needed to know for our closing discussions as well as for securing home insurance quotes for a home I previously knew nothing about.
