Dr. Russomanno has lived in Minnesota for the majority of his life. He grew up in Bloomington and Eagan and now lives in Rosemount with his two teenage children, Michael and Amanda. In 1993, Dr. Russomanno graduated Cum Laude from St. Norbert College in De Pere, Wisconsin, earning his bachelor's degree in natural sciences.

Have you ever wondered why almost every toothpaste contains fluoride? It's because fluoride helps strengthen the enamel (outer layer) of your teeth. It protects teeth on a molecular level and can even help repair small amounts of damage to your teeth. Unfortunately, even with twice daily brushing, many kids and adults do not receive adequate fluoride.
Even as an adult, you may find it difficult to brush and floss your very back teeth - the molars. They are hard to reach for many people, especially younger kids. When you factor in the sweet tooth that many children share, it is no wonder that the molar teeth are often prone to cavities. Sealants are an easy preventative treatment that can make a big difference.

Very professional, friendly, and knowledgeable dental. I am very comfortable with the services and information they provide.
Yes they are out of my delta dental network, but they can submit claims. My prices even out of network are reasonable. If I ever need estimates for insurance for higher work they get pre-estimates.
When I had a front tooth chip they told both the short and long term issues I would have so I could use my best judgment on treatment.

As an avid coffee drinker since college, I’ve accumulated quite a few stains on my teeth. Whenever I would go in for a cleaning at my previous dentistry, my dentist would always miss some spots around my permanent retainers. I just switched to Bluejay family dentistry, and have never gotten a better cleaning in my life. Dr. Simonson was able to remove all of my stubborn stains, and also gave me great advice on how to reduce staining on my teeth. I wish she would have opened this dentistry long ago! For those who are consistently getting subpar treatment, I would 100% recommend switching to Bluejay

This location is "out of network" for all Delta Dental insurance policy holders. The receptionist failed to communicate that to me prior to my visit which resulted in a lot of time wasted doing paperwork and contacting previous dental clinics.
Save your potential clients time by asking them ahead of time if their insurance plans are covered at your clinic. DO NOT wait until they show up at the door like I did to explain to them that they may or may not be covered 100% by their dental insurance plan.
It's unfortunate because the people there did seem nice, but no matter.

My wife and I were referred to Bluejay Family Dentistry by a friend when we moved to Maplewood. They are friendly, courteous, caring and, as far
as we know, practice the most up to date dentistry available.
Dr. Simonson is very knowledgeable and honest when suggesting courses of treatment to be taken. Her staff also reflects this caring attitude. We are happy to call her "Our Dentist"'

I was very impressed with the concern the whole staff showed for my comfort and the information I wanted. I have never seen pictures of my own teeth before -- the ones that need fillings. Also, got great advice and sample products for maintaining tooth and gum health. The clinic itself is clean and comfortable and has ample parking. They also offer a treatment plan for those of us that don't have dental insurance, and I've never had a more comfortable cleaning -- no pain!

Dr. Simonson is an amazing dentist - a wonderful addition to the Maplewood community! As an orthodontist, I have had the pleasure of working closely with Dr. Simonson and many of her patients over the past seven years. She has impeccable attention to detail and the highest standards of care for all of her patients. Both adult and child patients rave about her calm, kind, warm and comforting chairside manner. Dr. Simonson has a state-of-the art practice and utilizes all of the latest technology. Her work is gorgeous - she's a true artist and I have loved seeing the healthy smiles she has created
