We use Oligo lighteners and color, a company that has been dedicated to crafting a healthier and safer salon experience for stylists and guests for almost 30 years.
We are also now proudly carrying R+Co for our wash and style product line. All of their products are treatment-oriented, with the health of hair and scalp always top-of-mind. Everything is formulated without parabens, sulfates, mineral oil and petroleum. They are all vegan, cruelty-free, gluten-free and color-safe.

All our prices are based on your hair length and technical difficulty as well as our Stylists levels. Please visit our Levels page for descriptions. As a Hair Stylist with 23 years in the industry, you could say I've been around the block as far as salons are concerned. My goal when opening olive + elm was to have a growing commission salon with a huge emphasis on education and client experience. This means that everyone at olive + elm is an employee of the salon and must uphold the highest level of commitment and respect to not only the guests but to the rest of the team as well.
The Stylist Level System at olive + elm hair salon offers our clients options when it comes to salon services as well as providing a career path for growth and achievement for our team members. Clients may choose the stylist/level that best fits their requests and needs from skill-set/experience, to budget.
In her free time, she is usually hanging out with her family watching ridiculous television and eating tacos and wondering why pumpkin cream cold brews can't be a year-round thing.
Creating a salon space that had a smaller carbon footprint was super important and she is working to make olive + elm not only a salon full of amazing Stylists, but also a space where almost every product used has little to no negative impact on our creatures, our water and most importantly, our bodies.

Savannah was the sweetest and so welcoming. She did amazing with my hair. I love it so much! I look forward to seeing her again. One of the girls from the front helped with my hair as well. I didn’t get her name but she was so sweet as well! All the girls there are so sweet and friendly. The salon was clean and professional. Smells amazing in there. I love that they are all about the environment. Definitely recommend everyone to come here! You will not be disappointed. Thank you for an amazing experience!

A few things I really appreciated about my experience at Olive & Elm:
• They are following COVID-19 precautions and requiring masks for everyone (stylists & customers) — THANK YOU! I’m in the high risk category and haven’t had my hair cut in such a long time cause I couldn’t find anywhere I could safely go! While this might deter some customers, it makes me appreciate Olive & Elm even more! I drove further than I normally would for a cut because of this and I will refer them to others who are also high risk and/or continuing to be cautious!

I honestly had a good experience here until I talked to the owner. I told her I wasn’t 100% happy with how my hair turned out and she blamed me and was being extremely defensive. She seemed very angry. She told me she thought it would be a good idea if I found another salon. I tried getting my hair blonde but it turned out orange and was very stripy. I do not recommend going here!!! His name is Ambia??

Amazing salon and fantastic overall experience! Joann was able to accomplish so much in my session and exceeded all my expectations! She is truly a hair miracle worker! And most importantly, she was excited to work on my hair and was enthusiastic throughout the whole appointment knowing very well it was going to take several hours. Every professional is so knowledgeable and works hard to make sure everything is perfect for their clients ( I was there all day so I was able to observe them all :) ). Can't wait to continue my hair journey with Joann at olive + elm!

Do not go to this salon if you don’t want to have to disclose your private health information. When you walk in the door they make you sign a document on whether on not you have been vaccinated. Ever heard of HIPAA? Vote with you dollar. I will never support this business again. I understand you probably have this questionnaire in place because you feel it’s best for the safety of your customers and employees. However, how do you think it makes your customers who have chosen to be prudent in regard to the vaccine feel? Do you think they feel very welcome and appreciated as customers? Additionally

I’m absolutely blown away with how beautiful I feel walking out of olive & elm! I walked in with dry, drab and split end-riddled hair. Abbi helped bring my hair back to life in a way I didn’t know was possible. Hello beautiful body and shine!

Amazing - I’ve been trying to find my long term relationship with a stylist for 3 years since moving here - I think I finally found my “prince” !! The salon is beyond welcoming - the team knows what they are doing and they set a standard!! I first chose the salon out of the many I found was the fact they required a cc to book and had a cancellation policy - setting a standard like that for themselves means they set a standard like that for me!!! I had the absolute best experience - Carli was amazing - she listened to what I wanted and did exactly that!! I already can’t wait to go back!

I have officially found where I will go from now on. Carli was absolutely amazing and so calming to talk to, I love what she did with my hair.
