We loved it! The Elk filet was delicious and scrumptious! Also, our server was outstanding! We will definitely recommend this restaurant to all our family and friends.

My wife suggested we give Bonnell’s meal kits a try after reading some of the Mom reviews from school. We have been very apprehensive about ordering food to go recently bc let’s be honest quality and service have just been awful at most places. I was very surprised and pleased with the meals. We have tried the beef stroganoff, chicken parm, and the chicken fried steak so far and they have all been wonderful. We cook often at home and my wife is very particular but the meals have been flavorful, portions are generous and you can’t beat the price.

Overall the food was wonderful at bonnell's. The quality of the food was good, the risotto was a little underwhelming but still an interesting flavor. The service was excellent and our waiter was very attentive.

The food is amazing and the staff is great! All the food was great! I had a duck gumbo and Swordfish (not on the menu). Simply delicious! The Tres Leches Créeme Brûlée is a must try!

Not all steakhouses are created equally. This one is by far the best in Fort Worth. After my husband I visited we couldn't stop talking about how delicious everything was. The fried oysters are a must, they are absolutely delicious. I had the Buffalo, it was so flavorful and so tender it would melt in my mouth. My husband had the Elk and I mean everything was absolutely perfect. We live in Dallas and drive to this steakhouse cause it's seriously that damn good.

This remains one of the best restaurants in all of Fort Worth. Such a unique menu with a sincere Texas flair. The food is always prepared perfectly, and the service is outstanding. They have an excellent cocktail menu, great wine list, and a menu that is diverse enough for just about anyone. The exterior doesn't look like much, but the inside is warm, comfortable, and inviting. Prices are quite reasonable for an upscale menu and fine dining.

Incredibly fresh, high-quality food served by truly professional staff. The owner often drops by tables to welcome guests and make sure everything is perfect. The wild game is cooked with as much care as the Redfish or Quail. Steaks are outstanding and desserts are worth writing home about! Bonnell's ranks a rock solid 5 stars every single time!

ABSOLUTELY 100% recommend. This is the NICEST place I have been- when I say that, yes the restaurant was nice, but the people were incredible. From hostess to manager to waitress to the chef, this was the most… genuine place I have been. On top of that the food was to die for. If you can go- go. Ask for Melanie. Food and service was absolutely amazing!!!! Everything was fantastic. Melanie (our waitress) and Jordan (bar tender) were both fantastic and made the night even more so enjoyable. We will be back.

Went for our staff appreciation dinner. Amazing! The food was wonderful and the drinks were fantastic. I forgot to take a picture. Entrees: Pecan Crusted Redfish, Bison Tenderloin. Dessert: Chocolate Amareto Cake and White Chocolate Cherry Bread Pudding. Yummy in my tummy.

Very welcoming atmosphere and staff. Classy place to dine with leisure on wild game or fish. A bit pricey but well-worth the extra $$ and time. Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation. Dave

Took my wife here for our anniversary, we had a full meal and almost every dish was INCREDIBLE. The baked Brie appetizer had a delightful smoky flavor with the toasted nuts was great! Brussels sprout salad was on point. The tomato and jalapeño soup left something to be desired. The elk and bison tenderloins...ohh my goodness were amazing. Perfectly cooked with a velvety texture and great sauces. If you are not a BIG fan of peppercorn tread lightly on the bison steak. We finished with the chocolate cake which was also excellent!

Wonderful food! Great atmosphere! I try to visit once a month because the food is so delicious! If you want a great date night location, Bonnell's is very special. And the wine list is spectacular!

Went to bonnells for a company Christmas party 20 years ago soon after he opened. The food and the staff was spot on then as it is now. The mark of a good restaurant is consistency and they have been as steady as any.

By the way,If you haven't tried the quail legs with jalapeño cream sauce appetizer you are missing out on a large bite of heaven.

We came here to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. It's a cute place. The food was good. Buffalo tenderloin is amazing just a little too much peppercorn crust. The dessert was AMAZING and I have to say the Fort Forth old fashion is top in class.

My husband went to the restaurant earlier to ensure a special evening. But our occasion was somewhat over looked until the end of the experience. So for future special celebrations, I'll definitely chose a different location. But this place is GREAT for a date night! They just don't do what many other places do relative to above

Great meal and Texas hospitality! I've dined at Bonnell's pre-COVID, but decided to finally try the curbside family meal tonight. I saw today's post at 4p, so a little late in the day, but decided to chance it. Hopped in the car and headed west. Lucked out being the last vehicle served!!!! Yay!! Purchased the last chicken fried steak meal of the day plus a margarita (cause why not celebrate?) and Melt salt lick (caramel) ice cream. Pleased to support Bonnell's anytime. Excellent cuisine and service and, Chef Bonnell has done so much for FW and the restaurant community pre-COVID

Great spot for a business lunch. It’s quiet, service is great and the food is spectacular!
The client had recommended to meet at Bonnell’s for a business lunch, and I was all on board. From the moment we walked in, the hostess greeted and could not have been any more professional.
Our waitress was attentive yet not bothersome. Food was spectacular, as I had the buffalo tacos. The quiet atmosphere was conducive to our business meeting/lunch and I will definitely be coming back.

I have been wanting to come here for a long time, and decided to make a stop here for lunch on a Friday. Came around 11:30 and it wasn't too busy on this particular day to this farm to table restaurant. There's decent amount of parking, but the only thing about this place is, it's on a weird corner of Bryant Irving and 183 near where a few highways and access roads intersect so may be tricky for some.

The inside is decorated in a Texas rustic kind of way. Gorgeous on the inside, and would be great for business lunches or a good dinner.

Their lunch menu was very reasonable
