La Tortilandia began as a mobile food vendor in the south side of Fort Worth, Texas in 1986. After great success it soon grew and became one of the first authentic and traditional Mexican restaurants located in the south side of Fort Worth. In order to continue expanding the owner decided to move his restaurant to another location down the street and now current location on 1112 West Berry, Fort Worth, Texas.
Here he was able to combine both his new and authentic recipes also offering Mexican style breakfast, lunch, dinner, as well as traditional Mexican style seafood. La Tortilandia is still committed to serving only the finest foods, made with the freshest ingredients. La Tortilandia makes a promise to have all their dishes made from scratch and its traditional decor and friendly atmosphere is perfect for the whole family to enjoy.

Just the place we were looking for between shopping at Dickies Retail Store and going to afternoon rodeo at Dickies Arena. Other Yelp and Google reviews with photos helped make the decision. We had one of better dinners; flautas and enchiladas. Prompt and efficient service. Small place but they do have small bar as well as dining area.

This place serves great food but horrible service. We normally order to go. When dinning we were given our menus and forgotten about. Table that sat down 10 min after us was getting there orders taken and we didn't even get complementary chips. The table next to us had one person there and he was served without having his entire party at the table. I will NOT eat there again. Again the food is great just dine in service needs some work.

It was a worthwhile visit and I'm glad I stopped in. Everything was very fresh which I appreciate the meat cuts were more than acceptable. They could've used a little more flavor from using actual fruits and vegetables instead of just spice powders, but otherwise it was spot on and actually Mexican not tex mex and the tortillas were very good which is really important to me. I'll go back. With the exception of pastor this will be my new morning taco spot. The beans were also from scratch which is extremely important to me

Horrible service and worse food. I don't know why the queso looks or tastes like it's got an egg in it. They charge for refills. She kept bringing us the wrong items and when I asked for a special order she brought out a regular order. I had to get her to get another one brought out. I asked for to go drinks and got completely different drinks than what I ordered and her response was "that's what you told me" ma'am I wanted the same drinks I have been ordering for the last hour and a half thank you. There had to be a reason why they hold onto the "Voted best by

We went for the $1Taco Tuesday. I got 4 tacos de adobada, my husband got 2 de pastor and 2 de asada.
Our waitress was very nice, but the food took FOREVER to get to us. We were a little disappointed by the wait time especially since they didn't seem very busy, and it was their daily special.
At least we had chips and salsa to hold us over. Although the salsa was very bland with no spice at all. It did seem fresh though.
Anyways when our food finally got to us, it was good, if a little greasy. And small. But I guess for $1 tacos, not too bad.
I think we will come back because you really

I ordered a torta cubana and they brought me a grease ball of an excuse for my sandwich. Fully loaded with soggy wet bread, wet lettuce and tomato and a few meats that look like they were grabbed straight out of a pot of soup. Clearly they have never eaten a decent Cuban sandwich, let alone any form of a sandwich. At this point I'd rather eat a McRib... from three days ago.

EXTRA-ordinary. Every dish perfectly seasoned. The meat is tender and cooked to perfection. Delivered from Doordash, our order arrived hot and delish only 23 minutes after I put down the phone! We ordered: Gorditas de Beef Fajitas (generous serving of tender fajita steak in a thick, savory corn tortilla - comes with shredded lettuce/tomato salad and grated Monterrey jack cheese), Enchiladas Nortenas (classic Tex Mex scrumptious cheese enchiladas comes with refried beans that were very well seasoned and soft tasty Mexican rice), Chiles Toreados (fresh fried jalapenos --- the 'boys' loved

Came here because the 4-star reviews.... Left disappointed. Not much flavor for the ceviche...Tacos were very bland, fat in meat. Service was terrible.... Took forever to order and the place was empty. No napkins around after the couple on the table. Menu's were disgusting. Best part was they charged me for 3 margaritas and I only had 1... Could this be anymore of a disaster?? Lol Smh all the way back to the hotel.

I'm always on the look out for a Mexican restaurant that can be my "go to" mexican restaurant. Instead of trying 500 different mexican restaurants I just want a couple to be my go to. Tortilandia just may be it and it's close to home! Who am I kidding I would still try all 500. They are all starting to taste the same after awhile though, not Tortilandia!
I love their Salsa! Their hibiscus drink is so good. I got the Plato de Barbacoa. Yum! The husband got the red snapper in a spicy red sauce. I'm not sure on the official name on the menu, but it was pretty damn good.

Classic Texican restaurant with a colossal menu. You could browse though it for hours. I always just think it's too much, when I menu has so many pages.. too many options. And when I asked if I could sub a tamale for one the three enchiladas on the dinner plate I was eyeing, it turned out to be an issue. I just had to say never mind and order an extra tamale on the side... kind of weird, but I guess when the menu is that huge they don't expect anyone to make special requests? It wasn't that special.
Either way, we had an okay meal here. I really enjoyed the chips and salsa, and
