If you are looking for an affordable, professional-quality and seamless hair cut in Anchorage, AK, then you need look no further than Studio FX Hair Design LLC. We have been in business since 2008, and our stylists have built a strong reputation for professionalism, friendliness and finesse. Haircuts: Our precision haircuts employ techniques that create straight, dramatic lines, texture, movement and clean angles.
We are so excited you have made the decision to proceed with hair extensions! However, we ask you to agree (by signing below) to our non-refundable service deposit requirement of $100. This is necessary because we will immediately be blocking off our calendar for a considerable amount of time (3 hours).
At this current time we do require that customers and technicians wear a mask in the salon. Please advise if you have a medical condition that prevents you from this. Only clients receiving a service may enter the salon, unless accompanying a child under 12 receiving a haircut. Children may not accompany parents during the parent's appointment.

The front desk and stylist were nice. Jessica was excellent. She shampooed and cut my hair just the way I wanted and was careful not to cut too short. The price of my haircut was reasonable. $35, if you're wondering. It might vary for others though. I left the place loving my new haircut and feeling great.

One of the best haircuts I’ve ever had! My stylist paid attention to lots of details like accounting for my glasses with the type of cut she gave me. At other salons I feel like I leave and have to sort of guess at how to style my hair in the coming days, but today I got some good styling advice and feel confident that this cute cut will be easy to style since she paid attention to where my hair parts and how it lays. Very good experience and will definitely be coming back!

Wonderful experience; I highly recommend this salon. The appointment was fabulously fantastic! I had the appointment a couple days after what I thought was my back being thrown out (turns out it's actually a fracture and snapped out joint), so you can imagine how much pain I was in, and I can't stand up on my own etc... well that was treated so well and I was helped up, made sure I felt comfy and it was above and beyond hands down. The friendliest group of women and the energy in there was off the charts positive vibes. Maggie was just beaming with joy and kindness and an obvious love

I called and booked appointment, they confirmed and even said - 'see you later at *date and time*'. I got there 5 mins before my appointment , and they told me that they never put down my name to actually book the appointment. Mind you, I am just going to be in town for the weekend and this is the only time I have to get my hair done as I live in the bush area. Wasted my time going there and coming back to the hotel where I'm staying. Now I have to try and find a salon that still has an opening during Labor Day weekend.

I've been coming here for years! For you curly hair peeps out there, there are several stylist that actually know how to cut and style your hair, which is a huge blessing. Ashley is an amazing colorist and super friendly! You'll most likely get a hug when you pop out of her chair.
This is a salon full of stylist that knows what they're doing. What I like most is the continuing education in their trade that owner Shannon encourages and provides for her staff. You won't be disappointed with your visit here.

Stuck trying to find a place to get my hair cut on a Monday in Anchorage and Halo was recommended. Super friendly staff right from the get go and a small, but modern waiting area that I spent almost no time in, because I was immediately welcomed by my stylist. Taylor Ness was fantastic; personable and helpful in helping me select a style that worked for my hair and met my requirements.
I immediately recommended it some of the other people that I work with and would go back there in a heartbeat!

I started going to Studio FX a few years ago because it was recommended to me. I always see Holly and she is fantastic! I like to change my hair style each time I see her. Came here because it was very very highly recommended by a friend, what a mistake. Told them I wanted my hair to be strawberry blonde. Let me just start with, I called and asked if Studio Fx was able to do that. They told me no problem of course. Don't tell people you can do something that you can't. Came in August 16th and got my hair done. The person doing my hair said okay, yeah strawberry blonde no problem. I came here based on the reviews on Yelp for bridal hair. This was a horrible experience. I told her what my vision was, which was hair to the side and curls to flow down. Needless to say, it all came out wrong! There was nothing special that she did that I couldn't do. I had to tell her to change it up a few times because it was just not looking right.
