Services
During class, when the instructor is demonstrating the techniques, every student must sit or stand in good posture. Please do NOT come in if you are sick. Jiu Jitsu is an extremely close contact sport and you want to be respectful of your training partners and coaches, do not get them sick. A: It depends on the injury, but you don't want to do anything that will make it worse.

Very good community and super welcoming. Strong attention to detail on grips, positioning, and enthusiasm when teaching class. I signed up my first night being that I'm a transfer student having relocated to Danville and Alex knows a lot of the professors I've learned from making this a better experience to join the crew. Tracy is extremely responsive to questions and will get back to you super quick so if you're keen on making a transition to a school with great instructors in great location this is the spot to be.

We recently started off here. Tracy who's one of the coaches here is extremely friendly, very very responsive and ensures each kid is not only comfortable but actually following and are safely performing. My kid loves coming here.

Both of my kids have been attending Warrior BJJ for 1.5 years. They love it! Classes are a good balance between learning/improving techniques and training/sparring. The instructors Alex and Tracy are wonderful with the kids. They have high expectations and also make sure the kids have fun and leave each class with a smile on their faces. They really help bring out the best in each kid.

Absolutely love this place. My daughter went to another BJJ gym for 1.5 years but the class sizes were way too big (20+ to 1 instructor). Warrior's class size can be up to 15 students, but there is always at least 2 instructors, if not more, making the ratio more than 1:8. Their instruction is clear and focused. We love that the students get at least 5-10 minutes to spar with others at the end of each class to practice putting together all the skills. We can tell that the coaches genuinely care about our kids and take the time to get to know them. Tournaments are encouraged but definitely

Warrior BJJ is a wonderful location to bring your kids to learn BJJ. My daughter loves going there and has learned so much in just 8 months. They provide a positive atmosphere for kids to learn. We couldn't be happier and would highly recommend Warrior BJJ to any family.

I came in for a demo class and was instantly hooked. Alex, Tracy and Rhyan are phenomenal coaches who are very knowledgeable and supportive. It's also been my experience that higher belts are always willing to roll and help out with pointers. The atmosphere is fantastic and if you're thinking about BJJ I would highly recommend Warrior BJJ!

Coach Alex and Tracy are great! Very patient with the kids and adjusts to all their different levels/skills. I have seen a huge improvement in my son's skill and confidence since he has been going for the past year. Small enough class sizes to get more attention from the coaches. We are very happy with Warrior BJJ and highly recommend it to anyone wanting to try out this great sport.

After retiring from Wrestling after 12 years and competing at the Collegiate level, I decided to try something familiar, yet very new. I have met and worked with countless coaches within a range of combat sports, and am the Head Coach for Dublin Wrestling. This experience has highlighted how truly remarkable Warrior BJJ is.

Alex and Tracy have created a culture and environment that allows everyone, regardless of their experience level or background, to be successful. Everyone who steps on the mat, whether they've been around for years or are arriving for their first class, is greeted with

Warrior BJJ has done wonders for both my son and myself. About 6 months ago I enrolled my 9 year old son in the classes. He was nervous and wasn't sure what to expect. Tracy and Alex eased him into the routine through positive personal coaching. So far I have seen vast improvements in his confidence, composure, energy, attitude toward exercise and strength. He finishes every class feeling prideful of the fact he was able to do something that he couldn't do before. Also, he gets an awesome workout which is hugely important to me.

I started about 4 months ago and have seen massive improvements

This place is awesome! I have been training jiu jitsu for 5 years and have visited and trained at many different gyms but nothing comes close to the welcoming and positive vibes at Warrior BJJ. My whole family trains and it is a wonderful way to bond. Coach Alex and Coach Tracy really help break down the moves and give equal attention to every student. If you are new to the sport or have been training Jiu Jitsu for a while this place fits all the needs; they do a great job at catering to each student. I highly recommend Warrior BJJ San Ramon:)!

I’ve been training here for a few years and Alex is an amazingly teacher. The place is always inviting, clean and welcoming to all. I’m moving to San Diego and I’m already sad and devastated about leaving my jiu jitsu family and friends I’ve made since joining the Warrior team. I would recommend Warrior Jiu Jitsu to anyone regardless of age or fitness level. All are welcomed here. Come train with us

I tried my first ever Jiu Jitsu class with Alex and he was awesome. I had no clue what I was doing going into it but Alex, George and the rest of the class made me feel welcome and super comfortable! I was the only female in this particular class (although they have women's classes!) but all the guys were super nice and willing to help me even though I was by far the least experienced. It was a great class and I'm incredibly sore! Alex clearly has a passion for his work and it makes for a cool experience as a student. Check it out if you're looking for something new!

Warrior BJJ is a positive and supportive environment to grow and learn jiu jitsu. I signed my 2 kids up over 1 year ago and recently joined myself. The coaches, Alex and Tracy, treats everyone like family. They are great mentors that are always patient and know when to push your limits. Jiu Jitsu is very technical and with their guidance as well as the support of the all the other students, I have absolutely grown to love the art. You definitely feel the sense of community, energy and drive for everyone to do well.

(Traducido tambien en Español) I have been training with the Owner/Main instructor Alex for approximately 5 years. His attention to detail is phenomenal. The entire Warrior Jujitsu family is there to have fun, roll, learn, teach and catapult your confidence on self defense and life to the next level. The majority of fights/altercations end up on the ground and Brazilian jujitsu will prepare you for that situation. Great warm and inviting environment. Check this place out. You will love it.

After being brought up playing the more traditional sports, I never would've thought of getting my son into jiu jitsu. However, dumb luck brought us to Warrior BJJ in Danville one day and now my 5 year old is hooked. The strength and body movements he's learning in jiu jitsu are even making him better at those traditional sports I'm more used to. He's also gaining confidence and learning how to protect himself. Our family couldn't be more happy with the low key yet professional atmosphere created by the owners and coaches at Warrior BJJ.

I'm a newbie to Jiu Jitsu who just joined Warrior BJJ last month. Highly impressed with Alex and his team. Not only have they been very welcoming to me, but within a short period of time I feel like I've already learned a ton.
Alex teaches all levels and all ages. He's very involved and committed to the improvement of all his students, and from what I hear has an excellent reputation within the BJJ community.
I highly encourage people to try BJJ out, and there's no better place to do so than at Warrior BJJ. As soon as my kids are old enough, I plan to enroll them too. The concepts taught in BJJ

So decided to take my 3.5 year old son to a Martial Arts program. Found Warrior BJJ on yelp and drove down at 8 PM on a tuesday. Coach Alex was there and I had my son enrolled in the monthly program within 20 minutes. I saw they were cleaning after practice, the gym was extremely well kept, and I look forward to taking my son here. I might also enroll myself in the Kickboxing classes, although after my second shoulder surgery, I will need to talk to the coach first.

Will update after my son begins classes tomorrow!

There is a reason I choose to sit up to 45 min in the am traffic from Oakland to Danville to attend classes and train at Warrior BJJ for the last 6 months, and that is because of Coach Alex.

Alex is a great instructor who genuinely wants you to get better. His dedication and love for the "gentle art" shows every time he teaches. His instruction is top notch and his attention and explanation in teaching you the technique down to the small details within the moves and position is always on point. He pays very close attention to his students and points out the holes in their games and

I didn't know what to expect when I brought my sons here to give jiu jitsu a try. Frankly, my hopes were not high given their lack luster responses to Tae Kwon Do and Karate in the past. But after their first week - they were hooked!!

Coaches Alex, Tracy and Gary are a great team and they are what makes this place truly special. Each of them are dedicated to making sure the kids are learning, encouraged, challenged and safe.

The kids get a good warm up/ work out, focused lessons on technique and then a chance to spar. I am watching my boys become stronger, more agile, confident... But

Just started training here. Best academy that I have trained at so far. Very clean environment, and all the people that train here are very welcoming. The instructor Alex has a lot of knowledge relating towards Jiu Jitsu, and really cares about each student's growth. A great place to get in shape, and make some good quality friends.
